Nice hotel in New Bern
Heidi Hon 02/08/2017 23:48Our stay here was spontaneous but we were very pleased with the hotel. Very friendly staff. Clean room. Within easy walking distance of historic district & riverfront. We had a room with a great view too.
Let's be real- this is a Comfort Inn in Marriott clothing
Jennie Hon 01/08/2017 15:07Tired public spaces, the elevator carpet begs to be cleaned, and overall not up to our Marriott expectations. We wondered about the Courtyard branding despite the renovated lounge area and then our nagging impression confirmed by the bear statue out front-- this property was a Comfort Inn at one point. Simply not up to our expectations from front staff to bathrooms.

HistoryLover2017on 23/07/2017 15:19This is a marvelous Courtyard - a beautiful building with a large front parking lot in downtown New Bern right on the river. Nice views of the water from rooms and well located with about 20 restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. (There is also a Bistro in the hotel as backup). Lovely, clean, spacious rooms and nice bathroom. Wonderful, professional staff. We are 'Marriott people' and when you are on the road you never know if what you've arranged will work out. This was an unexpected surprise and we loved our one night here, vowing to return. The town of New Bern is a hidden gem - lovely buildings, historical spots, great restaurants and a friendly atmosphere. A very nice surprise as many other reviewers are saying!
Perfectly a courtyard
Abwhaleyon 23/07/2017 01:54Sooo much nicer than the doubletree in New Bern. Stay here. Will stay here again when we drop off or pick up from camp. On water we liked our first floor location. Easy to walk to restaurants. Plenty of parking:

serendipityfarmson 20/07/2017 15:04Pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of this hotel, the comfortable room, and the really decent breakfast in the morning! This hotel is very well managed. Would stay there again whenever in the area.
