UsaPassportStamperon 01/07/2017 02:05I rented an AirBnB apartment in Cowrie for only about $40 a night, which is a fantastic bargain. The rooms are clean, modern, with fridge, AC, stove, DSTV, everything you could need. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. There is solid security. The pool is nice and cool. It is a bit north of the beach action, but that might be a blessing depending on how you look at it.

Great Hotel
michaellenahon 07/06/2017 12:11This hotel has been our all time choice while in Mombasa-Kenia. We have stayed here since 2013 whenever we visit Kenia which is twice a year and the hotel is still awesome. Even after close to 4 years the property still looks new, from the reception to the rooms. Staff are excellent, unfortunate during our stay the lifts were down however we got a lower floor room which was excellent. From Wi-fi speed, Hot Water, gym amenities everything was good. We were however disappointed at times that the restaurant (Suli Suli) would close early, they also lack variety of foods.However Cowrie Shell still remains to be our choice whenever in Kenia.

Martin Kon 06/06/2017 17:56Loved the stay. Staff are friendly and quite helpful. From the receptionist (Susan) to the guards at the gate... Very professional. I would recommend it to anyone who's looking for a getaway around North Coast.
Used to be great but falling apart!!!
Eric Hon 01/06/2017 03:22I have stayed here before but it is getting really bad!!! The receptionist are friendly and really care about ur stay. But the lifts don't work here and there is no hot water. The good things are the wifi and the restaurant and bar!!! This will probably be last last trip here staying in the hotel as has just turned in a dump.
