Dinnertime
TheAsparguson 18/03/2017 18:35We walked along the Palolem Beach in search for a place to sit down and have a dinner. We remembered Lonely Planet suggested this place and decided to have a go. The food was good, we had the Fish and Prawn Curry. Quiet spicy, but nothing we couldn't handle. The staff was not very service-minded and we had to ask for the bill two or three times. (One even came and gave us menus after eating, thinking that we just arrived). Good food but not as good staff.
RIP OFF ENGLISH PRICES FOR SLUM ACCOMADATION
john hon 01/03/2017 20:17booked 3 days at this place what a mistake paid top money for a shed near a beach holes in roof / walls anything could fall through roof and by the sound of what was running over roof it could have been anything bathroom was a disaster area i have a better shed in my back garden would'ent let dog sleep in that shack
booked 6 months prior to stay with well known booking company booked sea facing shack and paid extra for it never got sea facing shack tried to palm us off with shack down back (it was stated on booking form but waste of time ) decided not to stay so expensive 3 days we never got could have turned up and booked myself for 1/3 price we had paid
keep well away from this place not even worth 1/3 the price then they asked for 29% tax on top of what we had already paid (local tax's) expensive disaster
Amazing staff and hammocks :)
melissap970on 28/02/2017 07:15After spending nearly a month here with 9 other travelers in my group, I can't say enough good things about Cuba. The beach huts are simple but have everything you need (you really don't need the fancy huts with AC), they are steps from the beach - and the hammocks on the porches were the highlight. The staff is amazing and friendly, remembered all of our room numbers and drink orders (happy hour is fantastic/dangerous), and made the overall experience comfortable and relaxing. Using the restaurant as a work/study space was super convenient, when the sea wasn't distracting me.
I can't wait to return to Palolem to see the Cuba guys (and dogs!) again. 100% would recommend to anyone!
Perfection on the Beach
JoshuaClarence Son 28/02/2017 06:41Stayed in these huts for nearly a month's time. Everything I needed was literally right outside my door. The beach is a minute walk away if you're in need of watching the beautiful sunset, going out for walks, or just having a party right outside your door. Hammocks are provided for when you want an afternoon or evening sleep. A walk to town is only about 5 mins away. They also do laundry and room service when requested!
Staff are overly friendly and they mostly remember your room number so you can keep a tab on food or drinks (don't wait on it too long!)
Dinner for 5 on the beach
Geoff37on 09/02/2017 07:33We had a largely fish dinner here, they display the available fish on the beach for you to choose. It was ok, but nothing exceptional and very like many restaurants on the beach, worthy enough but nothing stood out enough to prefer it to any other regular tourist dinner venue.
