Convenient but Mediocre Hotel
ProfPauletteNewYorkon 17/05/2017 04:16We spent 3 nights in this hotel and were disappointed by the small size of the room and the inability to give us a king size bed rather than two twin beds. The staff at the front desk did not speak English well and it was difficult to communicate. The main advantage of the hotel is its location relatively close to the train station (~ a 5 block walk).
Clean rooms. Value for money

I got a double room and got a good sized queen bed, which is good for Japan standards.

Lew Yon 04/12/2016 16:29Big warm room with great breakfast. Equivalent to 5-star treatment. I tour Japan by JR passes so location near JR station is one of my criteria followed by interesting spots. Although I am backpacking for the convenience of moving around, I am looking at around 3-star hotels for comfort n convenient locations.
Clean, quiet and a delicious breakfast!
travelgal681on 13/07/2016 17:45We chose to stay in Oita one night before heading to Beppu to experience the onsen. This hotel is easy to find, as it's a straight shot on the main road from the station. The hotel was clean, quiet, had great amenities, and offered extra toiletries for women. The room was spacious compared to other similarly priced hotels in Japan, and the breakfast, which was in the restaurant attached to the hotel, was outstanding with many different options and regional specialties. I especially liked the grilled fish and tamagoyaki. The kabosu citrus drink was delicious too. There is also a Lawson on the lower level, which is great for any last minute travel needs or late night snacks. All in all a great stay in Oita. I would definitely stay here again!
Smart room convenient for the station
Barrmeon 03/05/2016 08:37Just a short direct walk from the JR train station. Pleasant and helpful check in, light airy room with a good little bathroom and shower.
We did not eat in the hotel, but there are plenty of eating choices nearby and the station has a number of great choices for breakfasts.
It delivers what it promises from a hotel chain.
