Very nice man at the desk and rooms were acceptable . just needed to stop driving to sleep nothing fancy microwave and fridge. Pretty quiet other than the one family that was fighting not the hotels fault, gentleman at the desk came up to see if there was anything I could do and which ended the fight

No hot water, no resolve

Owner said to keep it running for at least 5 to 10 minutes. We had kept it running for 15 minutes with no result. We got dressed and I tried to talk to the manager. He walked away from me at the night window, this was 6 o'clock or so. I left the door card went on or way. Very bad service

The Room Was OK; The Staff Was Not

The room was OK and seemed to be quite clean. The furniture in the room was not arranged properly - it was impossible to close the bathroom door. Checking in was long and tedious. Understandably, it was late (a little after 11 PM), and the check-in was handled through a small (about 10 inches square) window with a slot and trough at the bottom. The night clerk took my drivers license, credit card, and Wyndham loyalty card and disappeared into a room behind the desk for about 15 minutes. I was beginning to worry if he would ever return. He came back with a credit card receipt to sign, and then gave me a key (a card with the room number written on it). There was no complementary breakfast or even coffee the next morning: the lobby was locked and there appeared to be no one around. When we checked out around 10 AM, the lobby was still locked, and there appeared to be still no one around: just a sign on that small window to leave the key at the window. It took me several minutes, while abrading the top of my hand on the bottom of the window, to get the key inside past the trough so no one could retrieve the key from the outside. The next time, I will journey south just a few miles and stay at Manning where there are several better motels that can be had for about the same price.

Entrance door was locked. Banged on door til someone came.Receptionist told my party it was $60 cash for a room. Did no paperwork, no receipt . Room had no towels or toiletries.Asked about the complimentary breakfast she stated there was none. Clearly a lie. I've stayed at other Days Inn in the past. Just horrible experience. Pay more and go anywhere else

The motel that time forgot

We were desperate to stop after passing South of Border on our way to Florida and this place turned up on the I95 signs so we took a chance. They did take the dog for an extra $10. The room was barely ok. The sink faucet barely had a stream of water. Then when we went to get in bed we moved one of the pillows and a dead roach was on it. They must have run out of king sheets because the sheet on the bed didn't fit and exposed the mattress around all the edges. The clerks checked us in through the security window but when we went to check out and get a receipt no one could be found. I walked the dog and found the pool looked like the swamp. In the morning light there was a Knight's Inn across the road that probably closed about 30 years ago. No food of course which was probably a blessing.
