pepperdinepaton 17/02/2017 12:09I was looking for a romantic getaway with my GF and boy, that seems to be their stronghold. Very nice room with lake view, the mattress could be a tad softer for my taste.
The attention to detail is remarkable. I also want to applause the extensive and superbly assorted library throughout the house.
Special credit for the breakfast - that alone was worth the trip.

The whole place has a charming and stylish design that reminds you of a funky movie set. The rooms are large, clean and have brilliant views of the lake or the meadows.
Can't recommend it enough!

oewon 05/04/2016 08:14I was visiting some friends in the region so I decided to take residence in this lovely gem of a hotel ! I got one of the newly appointed rooms , which have such a warm feeling ,especially to mention the bathroom and the extremely good bed . But the real quality of staying is the outstanding food, mostly sourced in the region ! There is a young kitchen brigade under the eyes of Sepp Schellhorn! I am usually quick at the breakfast but here I need at least one hour to taste all the specialities provided !
The value you get here for your money is more than fair!

Abi Ron 22/07/2015 00:09I booked Der Seehof for my boyfriends birthday and from the beginning the staff were incredibly helpful. Tina on Reception spoke fantastic English and was very helpful in answering all my questions. She even organized a wee cake!
When we arrived we were greeted by Tina which was lovely and then passed on to Fabian who was our waiter for the evening. He was a fantastic waiter all night and made the evening very special. Every time we were given one of our courses it was explained to us, which was nice. I also really enjoyed that it was explained to us that the food is local and seasonal.
The food was incredible. Especially the fish. It was worth every penny spent! I would highly recommend Der Seehof for dinner! It was so good that we are now looking at staying for a few days later on in the year. Such beautiful surroundings and so quiet and peaceful.

Marc Mon 01/05/2015 09:19Amazing as always! Chilled atmosphere, wonderful food and super nice people. There are rarely nicer places in Austria. Goldegg is in the middle of a wonderful countryside with lakes and mountains wherever you look! Golfing, hiking or mountain biking, you can di anything here!
