Incredible views
MTA2013on 21/05/2017 21:55Hotel up high on hill overlooking Lake Tegernsee so incredible views from our room. Friendly and helpful staff, amazing breakfasts and wonderful quiet location. However, our room was rather cramped, but this did not detract from our general enjoyment
Hotel with excellent view on the lake
M Son 29/11/2016 20:31I had a very nice room with view on the lake. Everything was new and tidy. When I read the other posts, it seems that there are as well rooms which are much older. Maybe it makes sure to clarify this with the reservation.
I haven't tried the spa area, so no comment possible.
The breakfast was outstanding, nothing to complain. The hotel offers as well a shuttle service to go downtown.

RayAgiuson 28/09/2016 13:25Hotel staff very welcoming and helpful. Our room 41 had a wide panorama of Tegernsee. Very clean, breakfast English and continental available. I highly suggest this hotel for its high grounds and hotel courtesy car available when requested within Tegernsee Area. Although tea and coffee is available in dinning area at all times, I would have preferred to have a kettle with tea and coffee available in room.
Hidden gem!
Whit3605on 26/09/2016 14:22We picked Tegernsee off a map as a stopover point for our trip, but we really wish we could have stayed longer! The hotel itself was beautiful with amazing grounds and views. The staff were all so helpful and friendly. They upgraded us to a suite at no charge. When we asked where to get dinner, they referred us to the castle in town on the lakefront, which was a great recommendation. Breakfast was a feast, and made even better by sitting on the patio and taking in the scenery. The staff told us that on Thursdays, they offer free sailing trips for their guests, so may want to check that out if you're staying on a Thursday.
Overall, great hotel at a great price if you find yourself in the quaint lakeside village of Tegernsee. Highly recommend!
