Awful
CZ1981on 23/02/2017 12:52Stayed here 1 night since my originally booked hotel could not honour my reservation. This hotel in need of repair. The rooms are dingy and dark. The mini fridge didn't work. I can't recommend this place at all
Sheraton Dakar ( ex Hotel des Almadies )
Patrick Don 30/11/2016 19:39Hotel is still under renovation and it s now a Sheraton hotel ( official opening December 2017 ) .. Just come to spend the day with family and enjoy the pool with the kids ... Pool is beautiful. The material in good condition .. The staff's bar came several times asking if we wanted something ... The beach was clean .. What can I say more !!! Not bad for spend one day relax
This place knows better
PABADOUon 27/11/2016 16:30This site is the best located venue in Dakar. Beautiful seaside, very nice pool but the good ends there. I went there with my family from the Sunday menu by the sea. Price is outrageous for a very average menu. Service is mediocre. Plenty of staff but you wonder what they are here for. The buildings (and the staff!) need a very deep and through refurbishment. Cannot wait to see Sheraton (really) take over, upgrade the place and train people.
desappointed
thomas422016on 23/11/2016 20:07were desappointed by the place : old equipment has to be renovated ! especially the swimming pool. very small beach not well maintained, quite dirty & the rooms are from the 80ths never moved !
Won't go back and won't recommend to others.
Not situable for business
mat060on 16/11/2016 02:01Lack of maintenance all over the place, from the parking lot to the bathroom. It must have been majestic in it good days but today, the only good thing about this hotel is the location, just a few meters away from the farthest west point in Africa's mainland. The internet is TOO BAD, if there's internet at all, it may not work for days. Not enough light in the room, and too few power outlets. No iron, toiletry is refilled only once a week, no change of bed sheets... an so on....
