The inspiration behind this venture is my mother Dev Kumari, to honor the strength and confidence instilled in me by her, the building is named Dev Vilas that means, Abode of Dev.Set in three and a half acres of land, the building in Indo-Saracen style takes a cue from the Shikaar or hunting lodges built by the Maharajas. It follows the traditional architectural lines, inspiring romance and adventure and is located nearest to the entrance of the National Park.Situated in a eco-sensitive zone, the hotel responsibly uses recycled water for non-consumable plantations on its property. Wonderful adventure!
2Cubanason 07/08/2017 00:17We had a wonderful and unforgettable time at this hotel. It is located at the entrance of the Ranthambore National Park and we heard the roaring of the tigers at night. We took two safaris to the Park and saw many animals including a Royal Bengal tiger (a female).
She was majestic and came very close to our open air canter.
The rooms were comfortable and the food was fine.
The tips are given at the end, placed in a common box, and there was no hassle.
well kept, tranquil , spacious and good food!

first off ,the grounds are spacious, clean and well kept, the rooms are large and the one i stayed in had too washrooms attached...that while travelling with husband and 1 child is very convenient.
the hosts are hospitable and very gracious. the food is tasty, clean, well presented and with good variety...
Excellent boutique hotel and highly professional staff equals perfect experience
Liavmadridon 02/07/2017 06:19I have spent three nights in that lovely boutique hotel. The staff, as well as management, were attentive, helpfull and correct.
Sweeming pool is nice, too.
By the way, I got there right after monsoon had started (practiclly the end of the season- we were the last to be there) so the reserve was green and ful of water. Despite the fact that it made the tiger spotting harder, the spectacular view and the richness of wildlife made it all a truely priceless experience.
Very good service and best food in Sawai Madhopur
maktub0708on 01/07/2017 09:00We r very happy with our stay in this beautiful hotel! Staff is very cooperative and helpful. Our room is so beautiful and comfortable with bed and attached sitting area. Also there are two washrooms in the room. The hygiene is on its best level! The food in Dev Vilas is so delicious! Must try! There are tents too in the hotel. But due to monsoon they are packed. Pool is also clean for swimming!
Highly recommend this hotel for comfort lovers! And for foodies 😉😊
Good 2 night stay
DizzyBlonde23on 20/06/2017 10:44Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and found it to be very good.
The layout of the hotel is beautiful, calm and peaceful with spacious grounds and our room was a good size and homely. Also loved the little touches such as the soap shaped like a tiger paw, tiger print throws etc.
The food was good although not the widest selection.
All of the staff we met were extremely friendly and helpful and the owner and his wife were very hospitable and friendly. We had a number of good conversations with him about wildlife, his photography (amazing photos etc) and enjoyed sat round the bonfire with them at night chatting about our day.
Also loved getting to know Trigger the resident Great Dane!
The safari drives were brilliant (we were lucky enough to see a wide range of wildlife including the elusive tiger) and the staff were always waiting at the start and end of drives to provide drinks, cold towels etc.
Would recommend the hotel to anybody visiting Ranthambore
