Loved DTR!!
Nancy Bon 16/06/2017 02:45My son and his bride chose DTR for their wedding venue and I couldn't have been happier! The venue is beyond beautiful, our room, the spa, the gorgeous vistas with mountains and free roaming horses while sitting on the patio having either breakfast or lunch were marvelous. The wedding was breathtaking-perfectly planned, executed and so much fun! One of the real treasures at DTR is the staff, who are friendly and helpful! I spoke with so many wedding guests who said they WOULD be coming back! Thank you DTR for a wonderful wedding experience and a memorable time.
Great place to chill with friends or for a wedding
TXTishon 06/06/2017 23:12We went in late May to DTR to attend a wedding. We spent 3 nights there and loved every minute. It snowed about 12" over two days and was so gorgeous. We thought that it would be impossible to have the wedding outside....but not so. It had snowed on Thursday and part of the day on Friday. The wedding was outside on Saturday at 5:30 at the arbor next to High Lonesome Lodge. The space with chairs for the guests was covered with astro-turf so workers only had to blow the snow off. It was a gorgeous scene with the snow-covered Continental Divide in the background.
The reception was held in the 'barn' at High Lonesome Lodge. What a perfect spot. A crystal chandelier was hung from the rafters, which was an elegant contrast with the old barnwood. DTR is the perfect place for a beautiful mountain wedding.
Our rooms were wonderful, spacious and with very comfy beds. The bathroom was large with a walk-in shower plus a tub.
Extraordinary experience surrounded by panoramic views
TPC0118on 05/06/2017 18:25A ranch themed resort with world class dining, spa and activity experiences including horseback riding, fly-fishing and mountain biking or hiking get you as close to the beautiful surroundings as you want to be. There are multiple dining options including Heck's in the main building and a gourmet's delight in the featured restaurant where all of the herbs and other local farm to table options are presented in great menu choices. The atmosphere is as laid back as you could want and the location allows for local trips to Grand Lake or Rocky Mountain National Park just to the north. The DTR is a special place for a couples weekend, family getaway, destination wedding or company meeting.

Cherish Lon 27/05/2017 20:19We had a wonderful time. The ranch was beautiful and the staff went above and beyond for a good experience. My ONLY complaint was the showers in the room. The water didn't get too hot and there was no door on the shower so I was freezing. Other than that everything was perfect

WildlifeWatcher64on 20/05/2017 01:37Stopped by to try their famous buffalo burgers! They were delicious, and the service was excellent! The decor and floor to ceiling fireplace was unique! The grounds and nearby scenery were beautiful. They offered fun activities as well!
