Good hotel,peaceful stay

This is located in main town and not from Rocky beach .Rooms were clean and basic amenities were provided.

Most of the tourist location are not very far from this hotel and there is restaurant located in reception but does not belong to this hotel.

There were not many activities to do like resort but price was reasonable .

Definitely recommend to other

Pleasant stay

Nice accommodation had a wonderful stay with my brother.And location is quite good.Breakfast is also very nice.By walk we can reach to Bus stand, Railway station and beach in 10 minutes.overall hotel is very excellent.

This is Yuvaraj from Chennai. Have come Pondicherry for training.
We have stayed in Devis Grand hotel for last one week.
We really had a fantastic accommodation here.
Nice infrastructure, Very clean rooms n humble service from the management.
Overall, we had a nice hospitality.
One of the best hotels in Pondicherry to check in.

It's an ok hotel

Location is absolutely good so as hotel. There are couple of minor issues in the room but once reported to management they gave us another one which is better than the previous one.Over all stay is average...

Below average non-maintained property

We had booked this hotel after some research on trip adviser. Looking at the "Certificate of Excellence" tag on the hotel we booked a superior room ( with breakfast). The hotel has below average room, which are not maintained. They require a lot of renovation. The lobby is non air conditioned.

The rooms were clean but lacked any feel or amenities. The lift is horrible and rarely works. The buttons are broken and no effort to fix the lift has been done.

The wifi does not work. The speed is slower than my cell's 2G speed.

The breakfast is joke, all they provide you is a croissant, a butter sachet and minute maid mango juice.

The only best thing about the hotel is that it is situated very near to rock beach, the french street and the bus stop.

Other far better options available nearby. Better opt for a house stay or guest house on the french street or near the rock beach. This hotel can be avoided.
