This was one of the most amazing and transformative experiences of my life. The Dewa Retreat was exquisite in every sense. The staff is loving and respectful. The owner and his sons treated me with care as if I was one of their own :) The Spa and Ayurveda massage is a must, if you can ask for Puja. The food of Dewa has the best Indian food.

The organic Cafe Pure Soul has the healthiest and most delicious food. The decoration of the Cafe is modern and beautiful surrounded by the Himalayas, overall the Cafe is very comfortable and relaxing.

clean and friendly hotel

We visited rishikesh for our daughter to join a yoga school, and we found this hotel whilst there. This hotel was amazing, the staff very friendly. Our rooms and the hotel in general was very clean. We had a wonderful stay with our family. We were a family with a 6 year old with us and was very family friendly. Good service from the staff. Great experience

Safe and clean hotel

Stayed in this hotel 3 times and felt that the location is great for many activities. The hotel provided an unobstructed view of the surroundings so every morning you wake up to a fresh start to begin your day. The service is good and hotel room is very clean. I particularly like the vegetarian food in the hotel-sattvik.

Best hotel in Rishikesh

My friends and I decided to visit Rishikesh as we had never done so before and has absolutely no idea about what it would be like. We booked our stay at Dewa Retreat because it had a pool and that was definitely something we wanted! Also, it fit our budget perfectly too!

From the minute we checked in to the moment of departure, the staff at Dewa ensured we had a comfortable and relaxing stay. They booked our rafting tours as well. So convenient! Their cafe has the best food in Rishikesh as well so you're assured of quality.

All in all, a totally recommended hotel for your next holiday in Rishikesh.

Nice hotel, unfortunately poor management conflict resolution, bordering unethical

This is one of the nicer hotels in the Rishikesh area and I would have loved to have given it a very high rating as the people are lovely here and very much want to please you. However, besides not being able to get a hot shower easily, there was a financial situation that was avoided and handled so improperly that I had to involve my banking institution to get it settled months after the fact. Upon returning home from my trip and reviewing my bank statements I saw that I was charged twice for my stay at the Dewa Retreat. I quickly reached out to them to remedy what I do feel was an honest mistake at first. While they agreed it was a mistake and they would reverse the second charge I got the run around and excuse after excuse about how difficult it was to fix quickly in India... it was a merry go round for weeks until I got the bank involved. So while you will have a decent experience here, buyer beware of your transactions.
