Wonderful and Relaxing

This is a wonderful hotel located by the Kuiburi beachside. The beach looks like a private oasis. Its a wonderful break away from the city.

The national park is closeby. They had great offers by the bar. The hospitality was top notch - nothing less than 5 Star Quality.

Food, Service, Location, all in all, it made a great vacation break.

This is one of the best trip I have.
Nice, quiet, kind staff (they upgraded the room for me :P) and delicious breakfast!
I really love breakfast here, there are so many kinds of food, including local ones.
Staffs are so nice and friendly. The room is quite big! Really, I have to come here again some day!

very nice and stylish hotel.
i think usually it s a very quiet place (not on this day though but because it was sonkgran). Good for relax. the beach is right there. i really like the style. the swimminpool is awsome. the breakfast was good...everythings good.

We did stop on our way down to Phuket. We were looking at staying at a place not far off the main road but near the beach. That was the perfect choice. Just need to go off the main road for few kms and here you are on the beach.

the hotel has 3 or 4 floors, the rooms are nicely decorated, kind of polynesian style.

We did not eat at the hotel, but at a nice seafood restaurant few kms north, after the bridge.

This is a very quiet place.

Just be careful when swimming in the sea, there might be some jelly fish or squid. I got bitten on my hip. Was just standing in the water, when I felt something grabbing me, like with tentacles. Came out of the water, had a red card 10 cm in diameter. So just avoid. There is a sign on the beach saying to be careful.

Seeing Wild Elephants in Kui Buri

Kui Buri National Park is one of the few National Parks in Thailand where a visitor has a reasonable chance is seeing Elephants in the wild. Searching for accomodation in Kui Buri was not difficult and I decided on Dhevan Dara Beach Villa, based on visitor comments and ratings. The Hotel is probably a 3-Star in my opinion and is visibly a 3-star in all aspects of what it offers. One thing to highlight is the very bad smells that come from the toilet from time to time. The smell suddenly comes in ... and is unbearable, specially if you are in an enclosed studio room.
