Better the second time around

We have been skiing all over Europe and North America and this is the first time we have returned to a particular ski resort. The family atmosphere combined with the superb service makes this a place you will return again and again. Leo and Verana are excellent hosts and guides to the area. The food is wonderful and the spa a welcome place after skiing all day. Try the Diamant Hotel. You will not be disappointed.

Very good hotel with everything that you want to spend a great ski vacation. Profesional and friendly staff, tasty food, beautiful SPA, clean and big rooms. The price is corect for all the things you can find here. We will come back for sure!

A hotel which entertains

This is a great place to stay if you want to settle in for the evening after a hard day in the mountains or just want to settle in. The team are really friendly and the maitre d (owner) is genuinely funny.

This family run hotel has real soul and is fun to stay at. Facilities are good and the food was very good.

The hotel is set in a scenic location which also means using transport (hotel shuttle, taxi or car) is de rigeur if access to the local night life outside the hotel is required. We didn't feel the need after long days skiing.

Ski Vacation

We spent a week at the Hotel Diamant. The staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable.

We stayed in a "Romantic Suite" which is well appointed with a 4 poster bed and a beautiful view onto the Sasslong. A minor critique is that the bathroom contains a large bath, but only a hand-held shower.

The hotel ski bus took us the 10 minutes to the Sasslong ski lift every day and picked us up in the afternoon.

The Super Dolomiti ski area is amazing!

The spa facilities are outstanding with multiple saunas, jacuzzis and a pool. The gym is also quite well equipped.

Overall a great experience!

A diamond in the Dolomites!

Whether you are skiing or hiking, this is the place to stay in the Dolomites. Nestled just on the edge of St. Christina Val Gardena, this is a truly a five star accommodation with the obvious warmth of a family run enterprise who take great pride in looking after you. The hosts go out of their way to assist you: from transportation, to getting you outfitted in sports equipment, to your daily needs at the hotel and recommendations of local entertainment. The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. The spa was exquisite with enough facilities and staff to look after a variety of your needs. All of the food was delicious, beautifully prepared and presented. Leo's knowledge and recommendations of local wines and liqueurs (always given with his panache and humour) were a delight to sample. We have travelled extensively over the last 25 years (Europe/North America/Indonesia/Caribbean/Central America) and nowhere have we found this level of excellent hospitality and customer service delivered in a family like environment. Thank you to families Mussner and Insam for making our visit to Italy so memorable. - Rocky and Debra
