Kim Son 24/07/2017 20:00My husband and I recently stayed at this wonderful bed and breakfast. Brigette and Lou are tremendous hosts and their place is beyond compare. The setting is natural and serene. While it is set back in the woods and away from town, Cooperstown is only minutes away. We stayed in the Denali Room, which was beautifully decorated in a rustic motif. Each night, we were able to sit out on the private back porch and watch night roll in over the lake. Each morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast to start our day. We would definitely recommend staying here to anyone in the area.

Mags Pon 29/06/2017 12:44We re all busy people, busy lives, trials and tribulations in life to deal with. If you are looking for peace, romance and around Mother Nature this is indeed the place. No it doesn't have a restaurant it's a bed and breakfast but oh my it's stunning, different and totally relaxing. Lots of character, the breakfast ample and tasty. Sadly we only stayed one night on our travels. You d be mad not to stay there. The scenery, the setting is to die for. We were tired that night and didn't want a meal out so we bought ourselves a picnic and ate in the conservatory. This b&b is out of town and there aren't taxis available I believe but why would you want to spend your evening in town when the building itself and its setting are breath taking. Cannot sing it's praises more. If you are considering this a place to stay, book now you won't be disappointed!
A great B&B with a wonderful view
Bill Ton 25/06/2017 18:01This B&B was really charming. Its tucked way back in the woods, access was good considering but I imagine the road could get interesting in bad weather. Bridget and Lou obviously work very hard on the house and grounds, everything was clean and orderly. They're also very friendly.
The view from the deck is spectacular, its not lakefront, you can view a large part of the lake from way above. Its very peaceful and quiet except for the beautiful bird songs.
I would note that the internet connection is very limited and cell phone reception is marginal. They note this up front, I found it a good excuse to disconnect for a bit. If you really must have high speed internet this could be a concern. This is a wonderful spot, highly recommended!

Kristen Don 11/10/2016 02:36Beautiful views! Amazing furnishings. Friendly and hardworking hosts! We stayed in the Denali Room which is rustic, and gorgeous. The deck overlooking the lake is the best spot, especially to drink your morning coffee. We definitely recommend staying here. We had a great time.

GretchenFathaueron 30/09/2016 05:41What a lovely place! The views and setting were gorgeous. The furnishings were rustic, but in a stylish, beautiful way. Very cozy, woodsy vibe, coupled with views and decks and balconies overlooking the lake. We had a great time, ending nights at the opera with nightcaps on the balcony under shimmering stars, watching boat lights on the lake below us. Very comfortable bedding and furnishings. It was quiet in the woods away from town and traffic. Brigit was a very hospitable hostess, and breakfasts on the porch were very good. Wi-Fi was poor, so we ended up using my Verizon Mi-Fi, which worked OK. True, the road was unpaved, but that added to the woodsy feel. Bathrooms were nice and everything was clean and well maintained. Great place! -Gretchen Fathauer
