Clean and big room.
ajvatvaon 24/07/2016 01:16I liked the room of Diego Almagro. They are spacious, clean and had the ocean view. When the curtain is open the room is bright too.
The lobby is nice and cozy too. Over all a good place to have a few days of stay in Iquique.
It's walking distance from the beach and children's park. Some restaurant are also close by to the hotel.

Koke_TDon 15/03/2016 13:34This is pretty much the only Diego de Almagro Hotel that I like. They do things differently: clean rooms, quiet halls, friendly staff, and irons inside each room!!! Amazing and something difficult to find at other DA Hotels. Chapeau!
The location is very convenient since you are a block away from the beach and a 10 minute walk to Cavancha, where you can find a variety of restaurants!
Good quality and affordable hotel
Patrick Bon 12/12/2015 16:09We stayed here for 6 days in November, 2015, during the off-season. Half price deal for the entire stay, so the rate was quite good. Located 1 block away from beach Playa Brava, good beach access but really no beach view. The better beach in Iquique is Playa Cavancha, north of the small peninsula. The hotel is located right next to the university in Iquique, so there are lots of really low cost food option intended for students. We were on foot, so we found a good range of restaurants and services within walking distance of the hotel. The Playa Cavancha area is much nicer, but costs more and is still readily accessible from this hotel. The breakfast buffet was better than average, but not fantastic either. The food quality in the restaurant for dinner was surprisingly excellent, with very reasonable prices. There were lots of business guests, so this appears to be a good business stay option in Iquique.

Restaurant is ok but not really a cozy place. Staff was very friendly. I think this is more a business type hotel. We used it for a short stop in our travel, for that purpose it is ok.
