"typical" but not for business
franckfischeron 02/03/2017 11:49The hotel sits in a old very typical building. Every room seems to be peculiar in its own way. Room quite cold in winter. Heating system not the most efficient. Decoration of rooms to be refreshed. Bathroom clean and convenient. Would not recommend for business stay.
A beautiful house in a charming small town
JillGibbon 16/02/2017 20:25We only stayed one night, and that night were the only guests. The owner Dorothy was not there, but arranged for a charming young man, Pascuale, to meet us and take care of us. We could not have been better looked after. Pascuale has a very detailed knowledge of the palazzo and the town - he took us on a short tour of it, which we enjoyed very much. He then cooked our delicious dinner at the palazzo. The palazzo is a beautiful house, and the family history very interesting. Our room was very well appointed, and great care was taken to make sure we were comfortable. Thank you to Dorothy, and especially to Pascuale for a memorable stay.

sandd1218on 18/10/2016 16:56This place is special, Dorothy is the most perfect hostess she really made us feel at home in her home, a lovely lady. The breakfast was excellent, all freshly made. We loved everything about our stay and would encourage everyone to visit.
Felt like home
Tina Son 08/10/2016 14:34We had a wonderful stay with some of our family on a trip to look up ancestry in the area. The hotel has every modern item you need, but holds onto its old world charm. However, Dorothy was the highlight of the trip. She is warm, funny and provides an incomparable level of service. You won't go wrong booking this place. Loved it!

profsp2015on 04/12/2015 11:01We stayed 11 years ago when buying an apartment nearby in centro storico. Recently revisited for a music recital in the old cantina- a barrelled ceiling gem off the main entrance. As usual our hostess, Dorothy was present and enjoying the music. All the rooms here have story to tell in this 18th C town palazzo, ask for a tour of the original servants' quarters, kitchens as well as the formal rooms, and don't miss the garden.
