Nice Surprise
TwoBoysOneDadon 12/08/2017 13:42My sister, myself and two boys 6 & 7 stayed at Discovery Beach Resort while in town for a family reunion. I wasn't sure what to expect of the hotel but was pleasantly surprised! While the hotel looks a little dated it ended up being amazing and I will definitely be back next time I am in town.
We stayed in a two bedroom. Very nice! One very comfortable King Size Bed with an in room bathroom, two double beds in the other room. Pull out couch, full kitchen, dinning room tables and nice balcony overlooking the ocean.
The hotel has a restaurant onsite with pretty good food. We ate there multiple times during the trip. They have a cool little movie theater the boys loved to hang at when we got back from the beach. The gym was nice but the arcade was lacking. Only had 4 games.
Towel exchange was easy and people were very nice. The pool was a nice size both with shallow and deep ends and plenty of shade. Hot tub was comfortable. But the best part was their is a short walk to the beach. Once on the beach it's also a quick walk to the pier.
All in all very fun and comfortable place.

earthenvesselson 24/07/2017 18:16Enjoyed family time on the beach and a trip to Universal Studio and the Disney Water Park. Lots of dining options nearby - loved going to Port Canaveral for dinner at Fishlips. You can also walk the beach to the Pier for food and drinks.

barbara Won 29/06/2017 15:17We. Arrived early we were able to check in. Front desk staff very nice. Rooms were clean and spaces. We only stayed one night as we leaving for a cruise in the morning. Check out was at 10 are shuttle to cruise wasn't til 11:30. We were able to have our luggage put safely in there office and they let us stay by the pool and swim if we wanted.

Mike Ton 26/06/2017 21:43We stayed at the older hotel for 2 weeks, the pool area was very nice the staff were really nice and efficient and the service very good, plenty of clean towels and always plenty of sun beds, we only had breakfast twice however the food was good and fresh with plenty of choice,
The room was spacious and clean with the towels changed every day, the room looked tired our shower did not work at first and hallway carpet was replaced during our stay, the hallway was a mess for 4 day however it looks good now, all in all good value for money, I must mention the staff they were all very affable and a credit to the hotel,

ovrmydon 08/06/2017 02:21We had a wonderful vacation here. The staff was VERY helpful in giving us information on things to do and how to get places. Our coffee pot was broken and when we called down there where right up with a new one. It is a very family friendly place with LOTS to do. Hoping to go back next year for spring break.
