Great villa

cullenr84on 15/10/2016 23:29

After reading reviews on these villas I was very apprehensive. But the villa really was like a home from home. It had everything you would need even toys for the kids. It was very clean, spacious and very comfortable beds. The kids loved the pool. It was in a great location 15 minutes from disney and very quiet . You would need a car as the nearest shops were not within walking distance.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY......

We have previously been to this area in a villa so had an understanding of the standard we were expecting..... We arrived when the office had closed so picked up the keys and set off to find our accommodation, you just know when you drive into the complex... I felt sick with disappointment but tried to keep positive for the sake of my husband and kids. We felt well and truly ripped off, it was awful, very dated and shabby. The pool was not accessible unless green slime appeals for a swim. The beds were stained, I dread to think what with, sheets were bobbly and discoloured. Furniture not fit for purpose, the list goes on.... So we took photos, went to McDonalds to eat and tried to get some sleep. The kids were upset, no one unpacked, we all slept on the top of the same bed waiting until the office reopened. What a saga, wasted a full day, others were in the office complaining too, finally got moved to a different villa. This was great, met our expectations, we got on with enjoying our holiday. Arrived home and after a month I have been charged over $100 dollars by Hotelbeds. It has taken 2 months to find out why and they have accused us of taking some hand towels from the first villa. Believe me, I was not desperate enough to remove anything from that place, let alone $100 worth. This company is such a rip off, I cannot believe that Virgin give them business. The Virgin rep who came to confirm how bad our first villa was took bedding away as samples....and we have been charged probably because of this? I can't believe this is legal, surely we should of been made aware of the accusations. My advice, stay clear, there are so many lovely properties in Florida , don't let your holiday be spoilt and be caught with hidden charges. Very disappointed.

Disney vacay

Had a vacation with the family last May 2016 and stayed at the Little mermaid room of the art of animation hotel. The building we stayed in was the king triton building which was a bit of a walk from the hotel entrance. Room was a bit small but comfortable enough with 2 double beds, a small table, a small cabinet and a bathroom. Bathroom and an extra sink and place to hang the clothes was separated from the room by a curtain. It is not your typical hotel. There are no complimentary slippers or other toiletries save for soap and shampoo and tissue. This is more of a value hotel. If traveling with an infant, i suggest you get a different room as you will be more comfortable. Nothing spectacular save for a it being a little mermaid inspired room but of you will be staying at the park the whole day and just go back to sleep, then this is an affordable option. Food center of the hotel is good though.

Disney Area Superior Homes aka Hotel Beds

Family member reviewed this place last year on trip advisor after our visit to Florida and Disney... I decided to attach that review (in pics) as I couldn't say it any better.. Place was disgusting, staff at Hotel Beds not interested... Should not be allowed to allocate such vile villas, they should be removed... Never would I book with Hotel Beds and risk being allocated soiled noisy beds, infested pool and multiple broken items and mouldy stained carpets and woodwork... 😡😡😡😡

Exceeded our expectations

We booked a 3 bed superior allocation on arrival villa to stay for 2 weeks at the beginning of June 2015. We were directed to Lounsbury Court, Hamiltons Reserve and found a most beautiful villa with a beautiful pool, jacuzzi, access to a tennis court, a huge garden and wifi that we hadn't expected. Our villa was beautifully clean and our pool was cleaned once a week. We had no contact will the villa company but knew where they were if we needed them. We were in a very peaceful, safe and secluded part of the estate and felt very much at home. We had very busy days at the theme parks (Disney was only 3 or 4 miles away) and loved the tranquillity of our villa. Every piece of kitchen equipment worked and we had cupboards full of clean towels. We booked online through LowCostHolidays. Ideally situated for everything I would certainly book another one.
