TravNcindaon 04/08/2017 04:38Where do i start.. we arrived from the airport at 2am with our 2 children aged 2 and 4, after our flight was delayed. Thinking the delay would be the worst thing to happen and things can only get better when we arrive at the hotel. Boy was i wrong. As we pulled in we noticed no one was around to grab our bags. I know it was early but im paying in excess of $600/night aud. I expected better but maybe the bell boy is busy so inside we treck. The whole experience was kind of horror movie-ish as when we entered the lobby there also was no one around even behind desk. After multiple "hellos" we finally caught the attention of the receptionist and bell boy who was doing up his belt and both looking disheveled. Now ill assume they were sleeping but could be excused for thinking something more x-rated was occurring. Again $600+/night aud not hkd!! After the girl got our rooms sorted we had to ask the bell boy if he could take our bags up. The whole time after he was "woken" he spent randomly and weirdly doing stuff that didn't really need to be done. The whole time not making eye contact with us like a naughty child who got caught drawing on a wall. Finally got to the room and tried to order food to the room but couldn't find the menu. Rang reception and was told they do not do room service!?!? Again $600+/night!! Breakfast the next day cost nearly $150aud. This hotel is soo overpriced and underserviced its almost criminal. Please dont stay here its horrendous. No minibar no glasses to drink with. No bar at the pool. No seats around playground for parents so have to sit on ground. The diner says it cooks but it does not, giving us only sandwiches and salad.... buffet at other cafe waaay overpriced. Cleaner is Friendly thats a positive right? Rooms clean i will give them that but $3600+ Hkd/night so it should be.
It was the most wonderful experience we had. Impressed with efficiency of staff at reception and their warm attitude
ntsikijolon 03/08/2017 22:34The rooms were well maintained. The staff was very awful in advising us where to go even for shopping! The provision of transport to and from Disney world made life easier, also assisted with access to the station when one wanted to do site seeing or shopping! The hotel provided us with maps and all the relevant information for entertainment etc

The entire hotel is filled with hidden Mickey for the kids to hunt

andykkon 30/07/2017 05:02The service, lobby, check-in, restaurants are just fine, but the hotel rooms are really old and torn. The first room we got was not very clean, and the TV is malfunctioning. Then we got a room change, while the second room got a bit of bad smell. We were very tired and accept the second room and tolerated a night. The room needs a renovation, the decorations and furniture were not in good condition, and as it's a themed hotel, there's just not much to tell about from inside the room.

Kiran Mon 29/07/2017 10:26It was second time we stayed at Hollywood hotel,rooms and bathrooms are spacious.hotel itself was very clean.spoton was the buffet breakfast .Garden area with scenic view was beautiful.opt for the high floors.free bus shuttle service to Disneyland comes after every 15minutes.They serve halal food also.
