Very bad service
koguzon 10/08/2017 18:45This hotel lacks housekeeping. Terrible room service. We repeatedly told the front desk about the towels and still nothing was done. For the price I paid it should be better. It is shame. I asked for my money back but it looks like Amex has a no refund agreement with this hotel. Only in Turkey this happens
Divan iskele
TonyChicoon 05/08/2017 10:40Divan hotel Bodrum..... I have not stayed this hotel while I was on holiday. But I did use their sun beds and often I have my lunch there. Divan hotel charges 175 Turkish lira per person to use their sun beds. Your tab stars from 175 lira if you spend less you still pay 175, if you over you have paid whatever is total.
Food was very well prep and very tasty. Service was sometimes slow but intensive.
Towels they supply. Therefore, you do not need to bring beach towels. My favorite lunch dish was;
Quinoa Salad prep with avocado, rocket, red radish, toasted cashew nuts and fresh coriander.
I will recommend divan if you stay in this area.
Lacking Service
Ahmet Son 04/08/2017 15:16The hotel itself and the location is excellent. However, service of housekkeping, Pool area attendant, and beach jetti including the restaurant service at the beach was terrible, Need to train staff as they have a non-caring attitude towards guests and expect to be tipped every time. The room and front office staff were polite with the exception of the mandatory vale services which leaves you with no choice to hand your expensive car to a 20 year old boy. In the hotel business success is hidden in details and being hospitable. Just a few days ago the hotel was in a magazine with the CEO taking a picture with the Divan team.... I would advise the management to have regular mystry shopper program to be implemented in this establishment.
Everything You expect from Divan
Yetikkm Mon 03/06/2017 06:03We had a quick escape from Istanbul based on a spot decision. I do not like Bodrum in summer (!) Lots of crowd and noise, traffic is tc. If I have to I go to Turkbuku. Because of less people, less traffic. This time we decided to stay in Divan Turkbuku. At the reception there were teo interns trying to welcome. They were not so experienced but very well educated and accompanied by a senior staff. We had a confusion for the reservation date but they were trying to sort it out. I don't know how but they informed (somehow) from the back office and a young lady came out and helped.
We had a quick late late lunch at the beachfront. Rocket salad and fish&chips were outstanding like to waiters and waitress. They were smily and helpful and distant to give you the peace you would wish for.
Thanks Divan, Thanks To the standard
Fine hotel - as all Divan hotels are
Phil Lon 19/05/2017 17:04We are fans of Divan Hotels and there is much to admire about the one in Golturkbuku. Unlike many luxury modern hotels this Divan hotel is small, comfortable and quiet where staff are attentive and the quality of food, rooms and service are of a high standard. The hotel was particularly quiet when we visited just before the season got properly going.. Except - the Divan Management had a 3 day conference whilst we were there, including the managing director of the whole Divan chain! Service was still fine.....but.....it is the one circumstance in which one might imagine guests being a little less of a concern than at other times. Certainly when the conference finished we felt we had the staff's whole attention back. The staff in dining areas were all excellent - too many to mention by name. Both Zeynep Buhut on reservations and Koray Anag on reception also provided us with service beyond the call of duty. Our faith in the Divan hotel chain was confirmed by our first visit to the one in Bodrum. If ever back in the area we will stay again
