Hotel Nice! Airport DISASTER!

We stayed at Hotel Divani Corfu for 3 nights and 4 days- arriving on 14 August 2017. The hotel is pleasant and has basic amenities however could do with a freshen up and perhaps some new carpets on the stairs.

The pool is lovely and refreshing and plenty of sun loungers available. The bar guy and all hotel staff were friendly. The breakfast is really nice, you serve yourself your own tea and coffee which can be quite manic of a morning, it would be nice if they would serve the guests.

The prices of the drinks day and night are quite expensive for what they are; "cocktails" in plastic beakers and not very much effort made so that would be my biggest critique of Divani Palace.

There is a shop in the hotel again very expensive- the Nivea sun cream available in most Tesco's is being sold at €30!!!!!!! If you do run out of bits during your stay there is a store less than 200m right as you walk out the hotel.

We got the bus in to the old town and this was really nice, I would suggest getting a day pass for €5 and that will get you back and any other journeys you want to do on that day. REX was a lovely restaurant that we are at in the old town and had lobster on the menu which was lovely.

The airport is a nightmare! Eat before you arrive! It's the most chaotic overpriced airport I've visited! No air con and people just everywhere! The staff are also among the rudest I've ever witnessed!

Lovely weather and good hotel! Nice break for me and my partner, no problems with being a gay couple here. Thanks for the stay!

Excellent Hotel

Our family of four (2 adults, 2 teenagers) had a very enjoyable stay here. Our room was a junior suite and it was very spacious and comfortable for our family. The bathroom was very clean and modern, with excellent water pressure in the shower. We enjoyed the fruit basket that was provided to us upon our arrival along with bottled water. That's very appreciated when you can't drink the tap water. The staff was extremely helpful to us in planning our sightseeing and arranging for taxis. The hotel has a number of very nice amenities including a lovely gift shop. The buffet breakfast was fantastic with a very large selection. The pool is beautiful and clean. Pool towels are available, but not the entire time the pool is open. It is easy to get to Corfu Town from the hotel. We had a great stay and highly recommend this hotel to other travelers.

Quite, Comfortable and friendly staff

Nice hotel, no so big - so very quite, great pool and friendly staff. If you get a room facing to the airport, you will get a nice view to the airport and the pool, otherwise you get a view to the garden. You can watch the airport from the hotel terrace any time.

Pro's: Quite, great pool, friendly staff, a strong stream of water in the shower, clean rooms
Con's: No private beach, not enough parking, not much variety of food in breakfast and dinner, not much activity in the hotel, wifi only in rooms close to lobby

The biggest downfall for this hotel is the large amount of young groups it has on contiki tours staying there. They take over the hotel not allowing access to the pool or bar and the pool area is pretty small as it is.
The hotel is in need of refurbishment but it does not manage groups well.
Not for families or couples.

Good hotel and friendly staff

It is a good hotel to stay in Corfu with a nice outdoor pool and garden. Rooms are very clean with a nice view. You can walk for around 15 to 20 minutes to reach the Vlacherna. The staff are friendly, especially the head waiter.

The hotel is not located in the old town, but it needs just around 10 minutes by bus to go to the town. Bus stop is just one minute walking from the hotel. It is better to use the wifi in the lobby and not in the rooms.
