A relaxing private getaway
Robi Lon 03/04/2017 02:21We were able to find a private resort near the coast of Alona Beach in Bohol and was very pleased with it. Situated in a private lot is the property which features a central swimming pool and a snorkeling site on the edge of the resort. Though it is not really a beach, one can engage in snorkeling or diving activities off the coast. The resort also offers a relaxing massage with a view of the pool or lay down at the pool side. The food was gastronomical! The price was reasonable & serving size was quite large for our pallet or may depend on each individual perception. The staff was great; they were very friendly, accommodating & polite. The room which we stayed in was very comfortable, but you may find the size of the bathroom rather small but in our case, it didn't bother us at all. Water temperature was working well & the room itself was relaxing with soft beds. The snacks in the minibar did host a few local snacks which weren't that much expensive compared to mini bars in other city hotels. Cable tv was also accessible but didn't use it much since we focused more on our local trips around the island. Wifi was a bit slow in certain times of the day in our room but has normal speeds in the hotel's common area. The place is totally secluded due to its location and the road going there is a bit rough. Overall, the hotel provided us with great service and will be our top choice again when we visit Bohol.

Had a very relaxing few days here. Very good facilities and equipment for anyone planning to dive, snorkel or take a diving course.
Friendly staff and good quality food available in the restaurant. I liked the layout of the resort with the sea right on its doorstep.
A negative would be the bumpy 1km dirt track that needs to be negotiated to get to the property.

Hanka Von 20/03/2017 05:47We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and if you prefer not to be disturbed by night life at alona beach this is a perfect place for you.and still you can get to alona beach by tricycle (150php per ride)in less than 5min

Jesper Mon 05/03/2017 07:44The Dive Thru is a perfect dive resort with great rooms, attentive staff and great location. We stayed for 3 nights and had 4 fantastic dives. Everything related to diving is handled with a high level of professionalism (and humor) by Orgs.
The pictures on the website is actually true to the look of the resort.
The only development area in the resort is their food, especially the breakfast is quite boring and could need an upgrade.
If I come back to Pangalo I'll definitely stay at Dive Thru again.

PeterHorchon 04/03/2017 05:43On the way to the Resort, I thought where we go but after arrival it's a very nice and quied place with everything what you need to relax and very friendly Staff. My dive experience was excellent there and the rooms are clean with good Aircon and they have all what you need for a comfortable stay. Only the Bathroom are very small.
