Liked it very much
Laura Ron 25/07/2017 15:51Really nice hotel. Very good value for money. Spacious room, very clean and it all looked very new. You have to take care of your own breakfast but thats fine. Very close to the beach which is also a big plus. We're here during low season so it was al little quiet in Pereybere and the accommodation. Would imagine it would even be better to stay here during high season. Best accommodation of all the places next or close to the beach.
Ok accommodation
troketiaon 29/04/2017 14:37This is relatively cheap accommodation and you get what you pay for; the place reminded me of a cross between a motel and student accommodation. The room was basic: bed, desk, wardrobe, safe, air conditioning and shower. Breakfast not provided. There's a bakery across the road but it's crap, you're better off finding some other place. Could have done with a fridge to keep drinks cold and food away from ants. Rooms are cleaned daily and clean towels provided. Hot water available to shower although it kept going hot and cold. Bed linen is changed every 3 days or earlier on request. There's a drying rack which was handy for wet swimwear and beach towels. Umbrellas available at reception for rainy days. It rained everyday that we were there. The wooden floor and ramp at reception leading to the rooms become quite slippery and dangerous then especially at night. Puddles form in front of the rooms which you don't see very well at night as the corridor is very dimly lit. You end up bringing the water into your room and there's no rug in the room, the floor gets pretty wet. They took part payment on the room but for some reason didn't email to advise, only found out when I checked in. In previous conversations, they said they would let me know. Thankfully, it was ok. They take the rest of the payment as soon as you check-in. Parking is available for free but it's very limited. We struggled most nights to find a space. Despite the location being handy for Pereybère beach, I wouldn't recommend this place or stay there again. I have had better stays on the island.
Great Place to stay
Francyt75on 26/04/2017 11:25The staff if super helpful and the location is great, just few steps from an incredible and not too crowded beach.
The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean.
Our bathroom was one that you can die for.....
Breakfast was optional but once you have tried you will have it every day and it will be served right in your room.
You cannot ask any better.
Look no further!
khursheed1on 27/12/2016 15:19We just returned from a 2-night stay at Dodola Lodge. It was absolutely brilliant. My only gripe is that I should have booked a longer stay.
Highlights:
*Super-friendly and helpful staff. Thanks go especially to Marie, Saskia and Kim. Due to the fact that a number of the rooms were allocated upstairs (2 flights up) and some of our relatives had knee problems, Saskia found a ground floor room for us at short notice and Marie went out of her way to assist us late in the evening by providing us with an extra sleeper couch.
*Amazingly clean rooms, high quality furniture and great attention to detail. Enjoyed the pretty and spacious shower and the strong water pressure.
*Superb location. Literally just a few metres from Pereybere beach and right next to a number of eateries (Piccolo Pizza, Mississippi Fried Chicken, Tamam Bakery, Chez Nizam's Halaal Takeaway etc). Also very close by car to a number of supermarkets and the Super U complex which has a couple of fast food outlets such as Pizza Hut and McDonalds.
Look no further - we will return!
Best self-catering in Pereybere
Guest Gon 06/12/2016 13:17Our 14 day holiday started with very friendly ,accommodating and helpful stafe. Thank you Kim. For making us feel at home. We loved our stay and had no complaints. The unit was cleaned daily and we just had to enjoy our holiday. The staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The shared kitchen needs some geting used to. But all is very neat and available.
