I would stay again

Solid and not very fashionable, but in a surprisingly peaceful location (except during the dawn chorus from the nearby trees).

Hr Titz is accommodating and friendly.

My room had dodgy plumbing (inadequately vented small bore pumped system from the loo that bubbles through the shower waste) but I will forgive them that for the super-comfy bed.

20 minutes walk from the far side of the Messe.

A hidden gem

Room was wonderfully large, with high ceiling and a balcony overlooking the Erwin Barth Platz park. The house must be c.100 years old but everything works! The décor is in keeping but attractive with lovely large mirrors, a good ensuite and a very comfortable bed. Dieter, the owner, is very helpful and affable. One piece of advice is to book direct with the Pension as you will not get breakfast otherwise and it is more expensive using a booking engine. The Pension is handy for the U-bahn station and the park around the lake and there are restaurants everywhere!

We were in a spacious corner room with plenty of light and comfort. The wifi was very strong and reliable . It is situated in a quiet street with litle noise . There are restuarants , cafes laundry and a bar close by.
All these things make the Pension am Park a real find for us . Dieter and his crew Sandra and Kataryna are most accomodating and helpful .
I do bring my own shampoo though.Breakfast is good and generously provided.

Good place to stay and does not cost too much.

We had. great stay at the Am Park. Breakfast was great, bed comfy, Dieter , the host was good fun and happy to help . There was a lift in the building which is always good and really good Italian restaurant just down the road. Wee bar just around the corner. Close to underground and S Bahn. What more can I say. We stayed five days and were very happy.

Fine pension in the Park with good environment indoors and outdoors

This is a good place to stay in Berlin. We have relatives living in the neigborhood within walking distance. The house and the room have the "jugend" style. The bathroom is very fine. Beds are good enough and everything was kept well cleaned. The breakfast was very much in our taste. Our room was located to the garden and silent when it should be.

The doors and the elevator took some training to manage.

Dieter does a good job and I have recommended his pension to my relatives and friends.

The nearby U-bahnstation and bus-stops are very useful when you have walked enough in thi fine part of Berlin
