Healthcare meeting

I needed to find a local hotel for a meeting at a famous healthcare payer the next day. It was too far from my favourite hotel in the Mosel and so I settled for the Dom Hotel as an alternative. I was first told that there had been a problem with my room booking and that if I slept in the broom cupboard the hotel would give me a free account at the bar. At first my eyes lit up not caring about the broom cupboard thinking it an upgrade on my ridge tent but then I realised I had a serious meeting to attend the following day. Overall the hotel was first rate. Highly recommended.

This Hotel has not only one of the best location in the City, its an exceptional Hotel in its own Right. Fabulously sumptuous rooms, Funky Bars, A La Carte Restaurant, and top notch staff who really know how to Wait on you professionally - cant wait to visit again! Thanks to everyone for a Fabulous stay.

Good City stay

A great location right next to my favourite part of Cologne - The Cathedral. My room was small, but tidy and reasonably priced. Certainly would look to stay here again just because the staff are so friendly and polite, they really made the visit a pleasant one

Breakfast was great, the usual traditional continental breakfast of mixed meats etc. Probably m favourite bit.

What can I add to describe this hotel, everything has been said in precedent reviews... it's all about exceptional service, exceptional view of the Cathedral, excellent breakfast.

Grab some of the great cocktails available there and enjoy the terrace

This Hotel has played a special part in my life for the last 40 years .
It was for the most part where I met family and friends when visiting the city .
Only recently have I stayed there as a resident guest , both in summer and winter.
Upon all occasions it has not disappointed.
It is the most centrally located hotel in Koeln, with the best restaurant /terrace for people watching ( plus the food is good )
The rooms are modern , well appointed but still maintaining the original traditional feel .
The staff are very professional , approachable and helpful .
The only odd experience you get is that to get to the hotel you need to drive on the pedestrian podium of the Cathedral ..Mmm I was worried that I would be in deep trouble , but No , its usual , you park outside having negotiated the people on the Terrace ( THIS WILL NOT WORK ON THE PERIOD BEFORE CHRISTMAS AS THERE IS A MARKET THERE ) and they will take your bags , check you in and park your car ...what a relief...
coming by train ...2 mins walk , up the stairs towards the Dom entrance and 50 metres further
