Lovely staff
Les Don 29/11/2016 20:14We stayed here as part of a weeks riding holiday with Raides Vicentinos - Riding holidays in Portugal which I can well recommend. The hotel is tidy, clean and perfectly positioned in a small village. Good selection of small bars and restaurants nearby to enjoy. Very friendly staff happy to help.
Good stay (and fantastic service)
ChrisSeattle_waon 19/09/2016 16:36We stayed 1 night before kicking of a biking trip thru Southern Portugal. Room had a room overlooking the small square in center of this small town. Our room (room 106) was large and very clean. The rooms are a bit dated and bed was a bit firm. However, service was fantastic. Woman at the front desk was super helpful and friendly. We stayed on a Sunday night and when we walked around town on Sunday afternoon, the town was quite sleepy (not much open) and small. She graciously helped with dinner reservations that evening which was a short walk from the hotel, and food was good. (We did not have a car and again were kicking off a bike trip but unless you are transiting to some place else, not sure why one would visit Grandola.)
Nice and cozy...
Antonio Von 12/06/2016 11:33Just for one night, with wife and 2 children. Very good location, right in the centre... convenient, with private car park... Very nice service, friendly staff... spacious enough room... the best for a stopover in Grandola...

Great little hotel
Mr_Achion 16/09/2015 09:58Situated in a quiet, small square within easy walking distance of the town centre and several varied restaurants (there is are no evening meals available). The Dom Jorge is an old building which has been very well refurbished but retains a relaxing atmosphere. Our room (107) overlooked the square and was spacious with a modern bathroom including a very good shower. The bed was large and firm and there was a built in wardrobe and fridge.
Breakfast was served in the airy dining room and had a good selection of cereals, fruit, pastries, breads with ham, cheese, chaurico and occasionally scrambled eggs and bacon.
The only downside was that the lift doesn’t work and bags have to be carried upstairs but help is available from the friendly and very helpful reception staff.
Laundry can be handed in to reception at breakfast and it will be back in your room at teatime.
We enjoyed the stay here.
Nice but old
brpadalion 25/06/2015 09:05If you happen to be in grandola. ..well you don't have many choices...
The hotel is dated especially the bathroom. Dated furniture in the hall .65€ with breakfast, which was decent. The elevator doesn't work. Luckily there is wifi.
