A Wonderful experience
279ninaron 21/06/2017 13:24Beautiful hotel, location, experience and the best marmalade in the world. Very convenient location between Biarritz and Saint Jean de Luz. Quiet, serene and comfortable. The room was beautiful and the grounds of the hotel so lovely for sitting and walking around. We will definitely try to come back!
Charming, quiet and excellent service
pierrepujolon 03/10/2016 12:15Charming bedroom in renovated historic farmhouse, mixing old wood beams with modern comfort, beautiful and large bathroom, very quiet environment removed from main traffic, surrounded by green fields and an old mill nearby. Excellent service.
Very pretty farmhouse
Moira Kon 23/08/2016 22:30Beautiful farmhouse set in lovely countryside. A little word of warning though: it may resemble a " Chambres d'hôte", but we found it as impersonal as a large hotel. There was no real welcome, and no interaction with or any interest/suggestions from the people running the establishment......contrary to what we have experienced in many similar situations in France. Lovely place though.
A charming break in the French Basque country
CarmenAndCoon 04/08/2016 01:27A calm, charming, comfortable, cosy country cottage. Our room was oversized with its own couch and coffee table and the bed was soft! We liked the bathroom even more: it was spacious and had a sort of beautiful Marat-like hip bath! Ideally located away from Biarritz hustle, Domaine de Bassour definitely is worth the try all the more so as it is pleasantly environmentally-friendly managed. Our special thanks to their friendly and helpful Swedish manager!
Authentic French experience
MikeLeinsteron 25/07/2016 22:03We stayed here as a family in July 2016 in an apartment across the road and it really suited our configuration with lots of space.
Breakfast was available in the main house - traditional local bill of fare and an additional 11 euro per person.
The apartment was in an old house but it was tastefully presented and had a new bathroom with shower and bath.
Location is good once you have a car as its quite easy to access Biarritz which is very busy and crowded.
