Place to stay near Disney

We stayed here for 3 nights. I choose it due to it's proximity from Disney. It was reasonably priced. A lovely calm hotel surrounded by green fields and chirping birds. A perfect retreat from the bustle of Disney. Ample parking and a short drive from a little village with all the facilities you might need for a few nights break.

Great price, spacious rooms

This hotel is located about 45 minutes from Paris and around 20 from Disney Paris. We chose to book outside the city because closer hotel rooms were small and overly expensive. Domaine de Crecy is a wonderful hotel for families in a nice quiet area. The building itself is beautiful. Rooms include a kitchenette, loft bedrooms, a decent sized bathroom, living room area and free wifi. Our room was clean, but could have used some detail repairs (like new caulking in the bathroom, tile grout was rather old and grubby - just picky stuff). Overall, it was very nice. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for Disneyland Paris and Paris sightseeing

Second visit to this hotel. Really like it. Friendly staff and good standard of room. The rooms are like mini apartments with a small kitchen and dining area so this time we didn't opt to have breakfast included, instead we provided our own. The mini apartment had five 'rooms': kitchen/dining; a bathroom with one of the strongest power showers we have ever used; one double bedroom; a third bedroom with a king-size bed and one single bed and then a fourth small room with a single bed. The rooms are all interconnecting. We stayed here with three children for four nights and did two days in the Disney Parks (just 15 mins away by car) and 1 day sight seeing in Paris. We caught the train to Paris from Val d'Europe and used the large and free shopping centre car park. We got cart Mobilis tickets which allow you to roam all of Paris on one ticket.

The only negative about this hotel is that we had almost no phone signal (O2) and the wifi is almost non-existent unless you are in reception (and even then it is really weak).

We've been here a couple of times now. Off-season great prices for 6p room. Small kitchen, spacious rooms, nicely decorated, great view on the golf course, swimming pool for the summer and within 20 min. Away from Disney.

We wanted to visit Crecy-la-Chappelle because of it's reputed charm & Domaine de La Chappelle came up on Venere.com as nearby & reasonably priced.

I did not realize that it is a golfing condo spot. Our unit was essentially a one bedroom apartment with a small utility kitchenette. One downside was that our livingroom looked out on the parking lot.

It wound up being just right for the middle of our trip - quiet & very spacious. Great bathroom with a deep tub.

We bought groceries in Crecy-la-Chappelle & made a couple simple meals to cut mid-vacation costs. Crecy has two great butcher shops - two fine bakeries & a Carefour supermarket on the main drag.

Do not rent here if you want to walk out the door & be on a charming village - this is your basic timeshare condo complex.

However if you have a golfing habit this would be a great stop - it is adjacent to a nine hole course with beautiful fairways (viewed from the restrauant) & to another championship Arnold Palmer 18 hole course. Green fees are very reasonable by American standards - quiet a bit less than a pro course in Florida for example.

This would be a great deal for families - our unit was a one bedroom with a queen size bed & a space contiguous to the living room with two twin beds. Listed price for junior suite is $150 Euro but we paid less on Venere.com.

It has a decent restrauant (Le Panoramic) with a pretty good bar & prices that are about 2/3rds of a country club restrauant in the US. The restrauant is not particularly French (although they do have beef tartare on the menu)- it is somewhat Americanized. Hamburgers for kids.
