Great memories made
markj2310on 07/06/2017 23:38A long weekend with my partner and Her Children and my Daughter and her young family. Stayed with Eurocamp in a standard tent. Good quality and a huge storm failed to breach the waterproofing. All facilities provided, So no need to overload the Car. The site is great with loads of stuff to entertain the youngsters. We used the pools and zip wires. Well located for some nice drives out to Dinan and Saint Malo. Would definitely come here again
Fantastic site
neilr0bins0non 05/06/2017 22:29Our 4th visit to this site with our own touring caravan. A fun packed week with lots to do for our 11 and 15 year old children. Pitch included our own water and waste. Lots to do in the local area - just needed another week to fit it all in. I have no hesitation in recommending this site for an amazing family holiday.
very nice for the 1/2 term break
Simon Kon 04/06/2017 18:09NB when arriving there is a local diversion in place (within 1Km) it is OK to carry on past the barrier.)
Stayed with Eurocamp in one of their static caravans, two bed one bath. two children 11 & 14, they had rooms with a bunk and single bed, just enough for two tight squeeze if you had 3 kids. Double was fine, kitchen and cooking basic, you need to bring your own washing up liquid, scrubber & T-towel. Fridge was a good size. NB there was no TV which OK by us but the kids where a bit up set for the first 30mins!!! Also had Charcoal BBQ which was great for cooking enough food for all 4 of us.
Facilities - shop great for all your basic needs although we did most of our shopping in Dol-de-Bretagne 10km away. great village very historic.
Facilities and activities on site where great although lacked UK health and safety rules. I only saw one life guard on duty at any one time, One of the pools also open only between 2pm and 6pm which I thought was a bit strange. Could do with more sun loungers. football area great.
We took part in horse riding, zip wire, cable ski and paint ball all great fun. The circus on the other hand need some work and for 44 euros expensive for what you got.
We ate at the chez madeline a couple times first time great service, 2nd occasion not so good will food arriving at different times, good food however kids ate first, then had nearly finished when my wife's meal arrived, they had all finished when my food arrived,we ate out a couple of times in Dol-de-Bretagne nice food, plus a few BBQ nights.
Great super hero show on the Friday night followed by fire works
Travel local area - St Malo great day out, the days we went it was cloudy, wanted to go in the seawater swimming pool but too cold to go in. Visited the grand aquarium good for a few hours when it was raining.
Also visited Mont Dol we parked at the bottom and walked to the top, although you can drive to the top, great view once your there, followed by trip to the local beach which you can see from the top.
Overall a great holiday with lots to do and see do, would I go to this camp site again? only if it was bargain and only because we have been there are plenty of more places to see, would I recommend it - yes I would.
Large site with plenty to do
corkytheoldsoulon 03/06/2017 10:30Stayed here for a week in Canvas holidays caravan. Basic but clean with everything needed for this type of holiday
Three fishing lakes with carp and tench the common species
Large playing fields for the children to run and run with room for cricket rounders and football
Indoor swimming pool open from 10am until 7pm and this leads to an outdoor wave pool and water slides also second outdoor pool open for four hours every afternoon
On site Spar shop but we used the large Super U in Dol for more choices
Only one negative is that the site organise a fireworks display on the Friday evening that doesn't start till 11pm when most people are leaving early on a Saturday morning for the ferry home
Would return
Good family break
Pauline Don 03/06/2017 08:20We had four days stay and had plenty to do. We took our 10 and 9 year old grand children. Our only thing we think needs changing is the pony riding as there is a shortage of staff which makes a lot of waiting to prepare for the ride.
there could be more seats around the whole complex to just relax and take in the atmosphere.
Staff as a whole were very friendly and helpful.
A good few days break.
