A little jewel of Portofino

I am so happy that we stayed at this hotel! At a small premium we upgraded to a sea view room, and the view is priceless. The hotel is located just outside of the main harbour (thats a plus) and has access to the "red carpet" leading to Portofino center (5 mins walk) through the back door. It has a private beach - something very unusual in Portofino - even the famous Splendido only has a pool. The beach is in a little bay with a beach restaurant and the sunbeds are on the rocks made into levels, very cozy and private. We have not had dinner in the terrace restaurant with a view, but it looked great.
The service is outstanding, everyone was really helpful with getting us transport to go to Splendido for dinner. Also when we have just arrived by car, one of the staff has spotted us and we didn't have to wait (it is a tiny yet busy road - there is nowhere to wait there), he ran and showed us the loading bay and reparked our car somewhere later.
The rooms are very italian, quite simple furniture, but it doesn't spoil anything. Our balcony with the view was the highlight, I could sit there all day.
Great experience and if I am ever back this would be my top choice. Great value for money as well.

So happy that me And my husband chose exactly this hotel for staying in Portofino. Location is so great! Not exactly in Portofino center, but on the other corner which makes it so perfect! remote and central at the same time. Stuff was so kind and well trained. They made us feel so special. Our view from the room was simply jawbreaking. I will never forget the moment I opend the window.

Private cliff placed beach with restaurant is best place to relax!

We had a 3-nights stay and it was enjoyable - good service from the minute we arrived. Parking the car, assisting with the luggage. We had a newly designed room with a great view.
An excellent breakfast with omelette and freshly made juices by choice.
Nice terrace with sun beds for free in private area - both lunch and dinner served with same fantastic views at reasonable prices.
This place is only 10 minutes walk from cozy harbor.
Recommendable for sure!!

Hotel Eden wasn't cheap for what you get but then it is Portofino, and it can be mighty pricey so in comparison it is a good choice. Aircon was good. Location excellent. Good breakfast in the garden. Our host has a terrific coffee machine and makes individual coffees for each guest for breakfast. It was a comfortable stay. Recommend. Beware car parking if you are driving. There are no guarantees on the public parking. We were lucky to score a space just as someone left. Just warning you. Carparks are limited.

My family of three stayed a night here. We had a room facing the road. The hotel is located along the road so you have to be careful getting in and out of your car/ taxi. There is a small beach area across the hotel (2 minutes walk) . The path leading to the town square is also nearby which is accessible via thehotel's back door.
Breakfast buffet is limited but you can order eggs and smoothie. The room is nice and comfortable. Big enough for 3 adults.
The hotel is a bit expensive but what can you expect? You're in Portofino!
