Trip to Rome

Nice and quiet location. Breakfast served to the room was great. Very nice and helpful staff. Would certainly recommend to others and revisit Domus Caracalla in the future. Cold floor and no close by metro a slight minus.

Value for money, good location

Very friendly and helpful managers. Good breakfast served in the room. Very good sized room and bathroom. Very neat and clean. Bus stops and restaurants all located nearby. The only problem I had was, I could hear all the other guests quite loudly. But this B&B was good for my son and I as the location was ideal for us.

Close but not close

It's a bit of a walk(20 minutes)to either of the 2 train lines. The A and the B. One runs east to west and the other north(ish) to south(ish). Both are easy to find. However it's a very hilly walk in either direction. If you're not used to walking, it will be exhausting. The only thing relatively close(15 min walk) is the Colosseum and a couple of nice restaurants (15mins). So the location is not convenient because of the walking distance, but staying at Domus Caracalla is worthwhile in spite of that. A nice quiet neighborhood out of the craziness of the city. A welcome relief! Would I change some things? Sure. The coffee/tea station in the room could be improved by providing milk or creamer and coffee as well as tea. 2 pillows would be nice instead of just one. Another or a larger wastebasket would be helpful. One tiny wastebasket isn't enough. Provide a box of tissues so you don't have to use toilet paper. Little things make a huge difference.
We stayed in a double room with twin beds. The beds are comfortable. Bathroom is new. Nice shower, clean towels. Breakfast was better than I expected. A couple slices of meat each, small wedge of cheese, yogurt, roll, toast, butter, jelly, juice, a wonderful pastry, and coffee. Each day it's a little different. Brought to your room when when it works for you. Love the super kind, helpful, and friendly staff. Overall a nice stay.

little gem

stayed for 3 nights in room 2, small but has its own private balcony, the room was spotless and cleaned everyday, the lady on reception is lovely,if you want cheap travel get shuttle from airport to termini which cost 5 euro each, then get the 714 bus 3 euro for two people, when you get off the bus turn right walk a few yards then left and up the small hill, the caracalla is across the road. if we ever go t rome again will definately stay here again.
