Funky bedroom with a basketball hoop.
Young vibrant staff and hotel - I was one of the older (age 42) guests but really enjoyed the vibe and various nationalities all mixing.
Breakfast - well we were warned it gets busy at 9 am (and only free for guests till 11 - 4E surcharge after)
So on the first day we went down at 0855 - and no Q, great food - but a bit too much for 9 am.
so second day - went down at 1030 - got seated at about 11 - no drama - and no surcharge as we were there before 11.
unlimited hot drinks. great eggs benedict, pancakes, french toast, freshly baked brioche or other rolls!
if you are a late riser a late brunch makes for a very very relaxing holiday and easy morning.
Pool table, bakery on site, great coffee, friendly service good price, good location in West Berlin.
We will be back.
Terrible place for families
Shuki007on 12/08/2017 10:23We are staying now in Max Brown. I can't express my disappointment.. there is no lobby in the hotel. You enter directly into Benedict restaurant, which is a big mess, since it's packed with people in the morning hours.
Today we waited 1.5 hours for breakfast!!!! We came down at 09:10 am. The place was fully packed. We waited in the room till 10:00 am and came down to check whats going on. We had to wait additional 45 min in the lobby...
If you are a couple that wakes up early in the morning, this hotel might be for you. For a family with children that eats breakfast at 09:00 am on Saturday morning, is a torture.
Super service
Emma Don 01/08/2017 14:01The door of the room we had broke at the second day. After we called the reception two employees tried several times to open our door, without success.
At the end they kicked our door in and excused several times for the inconvenience.
As compensation we got the largest room in the hotel and free cocktails at the bar.
+1 for the service and how they dealt with this problem.

Michelle Ron 30/07/2017 10:21We had a fantastic stay at Max Brown Ku'damm. Very modern and the most comfy bed ever! Stay were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast that was included was delicious. Great location, easy walking distance to the main shopping centre.
Very disappointing hotel
Arno Mon 30/07/2017 08:44I stayed there in July of 2017 with my family. Very disappointed. The hotel is still in construction, so beware of that. The windows of my room were overlooking the inner yard. The restaurant employees kept coming there for a break all the time. They were talking loud and smoking. So we could not sleep with open windows. The breakfast was good, but we had to wait nearly two hours to get one. I will definitely do not come there again.
