Simple but Peaceful

This is the second time I have stayed in this property. It is a very simple accommodation that provides what you need. You won't find luxury but it does what it needs to do. The location is nice at the end of busy street but tucked away behind an active church where you feel more like apart of a monastery than part of a hotel. However, you are steps away from all the history and quaintness of the old quarter. There is free parking but only enough for about 10 cars. The staff was friendly and courteous. The breakfast was very good and a high point of the accommodation. Great coffee, and plenty to choose from.

You are walking distance from all parts of the old town and this hotel is definitely well positioned if your intent is to see the city.

Good points:
-- free wifi
-- free parking
-- great breakfast
-- great location

Points for improvement:
-- bedding and room are simple, almost too simple
-- toiletries need to be improved

Overall, great stay will come back again

Tranquility

This Hotel is a former convent/ monastery and although I am not over religious I was amazed by the calmness and tranquility the building generated in me
The building is so old that it forms part of the walls of the old town of Vilnius so it's interesting historically
The calmness was also provided by the staff , no hurry no hustle just do exactly what you ask in a quite dignified manner and they had more information than the tourist bureau
This is a lovely experience for not a lot of money will definitely go again

Brilliant location and wonderful staff

Location can't be beaten in heart of Old Town within 3 minutes walk of a great choice of cafes and restaurants. Room clean and with everything you could need but still maintains it's feeling of an old convent building. Walls so solid you can't hear a thing from the other rooms. Best of all were the staff in particular at reception, nothing too much trouble and so helpful helping me to locate lost luggage. A wonderful stay.

Great location, great atmosphere

We really enjoyed staying here, it is a great conversion from a former monastery built in the early 17th century. It is located in the old town and we found it friendly, warm, comfortable and a really good choice of place to stay. Would stay again on a future visit.

Strategic Location, I Like the Old Style

Took bus no. 88 from airport, stopped at Bazilijonu which is near Gates of Dawn, got through the gate and the hotel is on your right after some steps down the slope.

By walking, you will reach bus terminal/rail station in 13 mins, local market 6 mins, Cathedral Basilica 25 mins. I found it strategic.

I asked for top floor as I like the sliding ceiling and they perfectly gave me the top/4th floor. Everything functional with kettle. Bed comfy. Most TV channels are non-English. I was the only Asian face and it gave me exotic feeling.

Staff ok and helpful.

Breakfast ok with something different each day of my 3-night stay, though not particularly impressive and delicious.

Overall I enjoy my stay here.
