Unwelcoming and basic
OriginalDorison 17/07/2017 20:46There is nothing worse than turning up to accommodation when you are tired and hot to find that nobody is there to open the door.
We had to find a coffee house and make numerous phone calls to the property (first call nobody spoke English) before we could arrange to be let in.
We were glad we had only booked one night!
Reasonable rates for Rome
smoir64on 10/08/2014 09:59We visited Rome this year and decided to chose this location because of the price. Upon arrival at 11 am. No one answered the buzzer. We had to call a number listed on a sign on the shed. Good job we had purchased a phone or we would still have been waiting. No one was available however i presume a person living in the building was called to let us in. This person gave us a set of keys and then left. We were not sure if we were even at the right place. Lol. Later on in the afternoon lady arrived to check us in. It was a good job we had not already left for the afternoon. This person did not speak english. Nor did anyone from the B & B.
We had lots to see and do so we got on with our visit. Trying to get a bus back to the location became frustrating and we soon realised that the location of this B & B is not conducive to travellers from Canada or the USA.
Breakfast was meagre and coffee cold. We ended up just going to a cafe for our breakfast.
The room was clean and tidy. The toilet didnt want to flush and the shower door was broken.
Other than that. It was what it was. A place to sleep. We certainly wont return and in a pinch would only recommend to anyone.

Nice B&B in a quiet location.
Drew Bon 23/07/2013 09:38The hotel is located just over a mile from the termini near the park Villa Borghese.
The woman on the desk was very friendly offering us Orange juice on our arrival but us not being able to speak Italian it was quite difficult as she didn't really speak any English either so took us about 10-15 minutes to check out.
Rooms are reasonably large. Very clean and had the best nights sleep out of our 10 day trip visiting 5 other hotels.
Breakfast was basic but did the job Yoghurts, small croissants, some toast and some juice or coffee.
The park where the zoo, galleries and other sights are is literally a 5 minute walk around the corner
Would definitely stay there again when back in Rome.
Great Italian B and B
MervinCarloon 31/01/2012 19:32Booked this accomodation since the reviews are very good, well I wasn't disappointed the rooms are clean and had that Italian feel, the ceiling are very high and the room was just lovely. Staff was very helpful and friendly, bus stop is about 5-10 walk which is fine. The area is quiet so rest assure you can have a good sleep after a tiring day in rome...
