What People are saying

Clean, quiet and economical

Susan Bon 23/05/2017 01:14

This 10 room hotel is in the interesting old Jewish Quarter. The twin room was clean and was very quiet. The wifi worked well. There was a small fridge. The staff were pleasant and there seemed always to be someone available who spoke English. The hotel is within walking distance to most of the major attractions and a short taxi ride to the Palacio de Viana. The El Cardenal Flamenco was literally just around the corner (and well worth a visit).

Awesome place to stay in a perfect little town

We stayed in a room with two twin beds and it was perfect. The room itself was spacious, clean, had a working AC, had a safe, had good wifi, the beds were comfortable, and had a nice little balcony. Also had a free mini bar! The bathroom was spacious and clean as well. The owners were always super nice and always ready to answer questions. Located in a good central part of Cordoba but in a nice quiet area.

Small family run hotel

Located in quiet square just minutes from tourist attractions. We couldn't believe how quiet it was as we had a room at the front overlooking the square.
It is a small family run hotel with decent size rooms and spotlessly clean.
They have limited parking and parked the car for us.
Great stay thank you.

Really good!

This isn't a 5-star hotel but it is still very, very good. The stars they have is really good ones. Centrally located with 5-10 walk to the Great Mosque this is a really well-placed hotel. They have 4 parking slots which you'll have to book in advance. I got a mail about this with driving instructions to the hotel since using a navigator is useless. They shift around one-way streets now and then so the GPS will only take you on a wild goose chase. If you plan the route to the hotel as they suggest, you'll be fine. The rooms are very basic but they provide free wi-fi and free drinks (alcohol-free) in the minibar. There is also a larger than usual safe in the room. Staff speaks variated degrees of English. Seems like they are pitching the best English speaker around check-in and check-out times and he gave us lots of useful information about the sights in the area. Really helpful. The rest of the staff was always smiling and helpful.

Well-located small clean hotel

We recently stayed at Hotel Don Paula in Cordoba for 3 nights. I had a hard time finding a place near the important sites that wouldn't be noisy and decided on Don Paula because it was away from the main tourist areas, yet an easy walk to the sites. This is a small, clean hotel with an elevator. Our room was spacious with a good storage area, comfortable bed, and a nice shower.

Due to possible noise issues, I requested a room in the back that happened to have a view of the Bell Tower. Even though Cordoba is bustling with tourists in early April, our room was quiet.

Staff was helpful, especially making good suggestions for eating. Our hotel was in the Jewish Quarter so was an easy walk to the main square Plaza de las Tendillas, the Mesquita (awesome!), the Alcazar, the river, the Old Wall, and the train station. Cordoba is a lovely city with numerous small parks so it was particularly enjoyable for us walkers. We highly recommend a visit to Cordoba and a stay at Don Paula.
