Very quiet and close to beach

A very quiet an relaxing place to stay.

Room was clean, and good.

The garden which is lovely literally backs on to the beach.

The beach is quiet, and safe to swim in.

Breakfast was good, and Rolando arranged a trike to get me into town for an evening meal so I could see a little more of Hinunangan.

Great stay for my honeymoon

The staff and beach were unbelievable or close to it for our rate. I really recommend this hotel for a quiet high quality stay. We felt well treated the entire time we were here and the staff made us feel like family. Can't really remember the bad except the roof top patio isn't maintained which is a shame

We stayed with my husband 2 nights in this hotel and were very happy. The people running the hotel are lovely and very very helpful. It is not a touristic place there so it can be pretty difficult to organize yourself but with their help we had no problem at all to see what we wanted. To return to Cebu they even booked for us the ferry from Hilongos and brought us the departure day to the next village were the bus was leaving (to Hilongos). The breakfast was delicious and generous. The location is also very good just in front of the beach.

Its not a cheap place to stay but it worth it. If you have the chance to go to Hinunangan I would definitively advise you to stag there (and visit st pedro island its beautiful)!

A great place for tired aid workers to recharge

My partner and I were the only guests of Lan and Maurice for five very restful days. Our hosts were very accommodating and helpful whilst always allowing us privacy. I would highly recommend this hotel for aid workers (like me) who need a short break from their work in Leyte or other parts of Philippines. It was a great way for me to finish off my stay in Philippines after coming off contract. You'll have plenty of chance to relax, read, eat well, stroll along the beach, exercise or explore the lovely coast at dona marta. You'll be made to feel very welcome and can enjoy a beautiful garden and beach setting.

Excellent little hotel out in the middle of know where - great breakfast - great scenery - perfect hosts - restaurant just great great meals - and very affordable - id stay there again - out of the way great location right on the beach just awesome
