Very friendly staff, nice location
ssonnen1987on 04/04/2017 14:39The hotel was recommended by our business partner and it turned out to be a very nice place. The staff responded quickly to my requests and was friendly and helpful.
Generally the hotel is elevated class, but there are very good offers ("super fancy discount" or something like that) which makes the place affordable.
Next time I will be in the Lauf area, I will definitely book there again!
Best service, lovely surroundings, good value for money

The hotel was located in very lovely surroundings, and the room itself was extremely comfortable. Nice bed, nice big TV, free minibar and funny notes all over in the room. Best recommendations from our family to Dormero Schlosshotel..
Good hotel with good service
Michael Von 28/08/2016 18:33We stayed here for one night on our way to Lake Garda, Italy in August 2016. It was a very pleasant experience to stay at DORMERO Schlosshotel.
We were warmly welcomed at the reception, who were really helpful in giving instructions on where we could park the car nearby.
Also had the breakfast the following morning, which were really good and with the opportunity to have it, while sitting in covered terrace next to the small stream nearby.
Overall a good experience that can be recommended.
Great stay in one of the old towers
mr_seloon 28/06/2016 19:53The hotel is separated into different buildings offering totally different experiences. I stayed in one of the old towers, which was converted in a hotel suite on three floors, including a balcony. It was a really charming suite and a delightful experience. Only the staff could be trained better. They are friendly but didn't even know about some promotions they are having at their own bar. It is strange that a guest has to explain to staff which promotions they currently have.
Excellent but quirky
972279on 11/02/2016 14:26I really like this place. The hotel is a bit quirky with lots of contrasting white panels and crimson red decoration but it all works well. The check in was friendly, efficient and easy. The room I had was in one of the wings reached by the bridge over the stream that runs alongside the hotel. The room was large, wooden floored, well furnished with a huge telly and large bathroom. A nice touch is the fridge with free soft drinks and a beer. There is a fitness room with bike, cross trainer and treadmill plus a good sauna. The restaurant is small but the food was good. Breakfast is very good with lots of choice. All in all this place is a bit of a "find". It's half an hour from Nuremberg where the hotels can be ludicrously expensive when conventions are held, so this is a great alternative.
