Nice hotel on a budget

A short walk from Niigata station

Quite new and modern business hotel that has a really nice free onsen (hot spring) for guests.

The buffet breakfast has a great selection of western and Japanese food.

Would definitely recommend for business or pleasure.

Near train station with onsen

Only 10 mins walk from train station. Hotel do offer shuttle bus from hotel to train station but during morning time only. We tried to find any shuttle bus return from train station to hotel. But you won't find any stand of it. Don't expect you can get an answer in English from the staff, Coz they don't understand.
Hotel offer onsen from 3pm - 10am
Top floor for man and female on 2nd floor
Supper start from 930pm to 11pm with delicious ramen !
Room looks new and nice ! But ensure you book the room type with shower room ...

Great Hotel

Had a pleasant 4-night stay last month during our vacation in Niigata. With this price, no other hotel in Japan could match: proximity to city center, great common bath, delicious and healthy breakfast, very clean and well maintained facilities, nicely arranged room (feel enough space for two of us), handphone charger and emergency water tank in the room, nice kimono set, emergency toilet in the elevator, cardiac arrest emergency kit in common bath etc.
Staffs were very kind and helpful. Will stay in this hotel again for upcoming trip to Niigata.

Great Onsen Hotel

We booked a double bed and the room was very compact and efficient but it is Japan!
It is somewhat unique in that there is a open walkway to the rooms where the doors open outwards. You then enter a small vestibule where you take off your shoes and put on the slippers on the rack. There's also a vanity sink (fridge below) to wash your hands before entering the guest room. You then walk past the bathroom and then through a sliding door into the compact sleeping area with a double bed. The usual amenities including WIFI in the room. The air cond. control is on the headboard with purple power button. To turn on air cond., press right upper button just under power button. Adjust temp. with 2 buttons to left of purple button. A nice touch was including a multi-charger for cell phones, tablets, ipads, etc. There's also washer/dryer available on the 10th floor (3 sets). Free wash and Y100 for 20 min. dryer which should be enough for small load. Japanese tea and UCC coffee available in the lobby. Ladies onsen is on the second floor and men's on the 10th floor. They're open all night which is also unique. The men's onsen was great with both an indoor and outdoor hotsprings bath at 41C, a cold bath indoor at 17C, and 2 outdoor barrel style soakers. There's also a dry sauna at 91C but do read the instructions next to door before entering. Free lockers with key. Make sure you do wipe down with the scrub cloth before re-entering the dressing area after your soak. An added perk is complimentary fresh ramen served in the 2nd floor restaurant from 9:30 to 11:00PM.
We also decided to avail ourselves of the breakfast buffet for Y1,200. One of the best Japanese style breakfast with Western style items. The nice thing is that all the portions are small so one can sample almost everything without leaving food on the tray (which is not polite BTW). No disappointments here at all!

転勤下見 business stay

新潟に転勤になる際に、現地下見で宿泊。
一泊8000円(2000円Quoカード付き)食事なし、温泉大浴場有りと、さすが地方は安くて高いクオリティだと感じさせられた。内装はちょっとしたリゾートホテルのよう、新潟駅から徒歩10分弱。

Access from Niigata station is about 10min on foot, low price but good room, not bad amenities, healthy hot spa and big public bath space.
But there is no convenience store near hotel, it might let you feel inconvenient.
