Great place to stay in Wakayama
simalemon 08/08/2017 14:56Loved the onsen, the free late night supper and the room. I accidentally lost something at the changing rooms, but someone was kind enough to return it. Thumbs up on the service! It is somewhat more pricy compare to the rest in the neighbourhood, but the price is worth it for the service, the amenities and the great stay.
Just earned return customers
Barilee Ton 02/07/2017 06:48The room, the service, the facilities and food were all top notch! Can't believe we hadn't heard of this chain before. Only downsides were their on-site parking lot is expensive at 1000 Yen a day (but they can recommend other lots nearby that are 500/600 Yen), the room was a tad cozy by Western standards and pillows provided were a bit lumpy - but they offer a free pillow borrowing service where you can choose the softness you prefer! So basically the downsides all have solutions. The spa and noodles were fantastic touches, too. We will definitely return.
Perfect for our stay - onsen, breakfast, and clean and comfortable room
Linz-likes-to-travelon 01/07/2017 08:57We enjoyed going to the onsen and then relaxing in bed each night with a beer from the vending machine. The morning breakfast buffet was also nice. Walking distance from the train station and close to Japan's "best ramen." The room was small but clean and comfortable. I would definitely choose this hotel again.
Hot spring hotel in city area
Wynnyeon 14/06/2017 05:19I love this hotel. If I ever go to Wakayama again I’d love to stay here again. It is close to the train station, shops, and the famous noodle shop Ideshoten.
The hotel has got a decent hot spring with sauna facility. It provides free noodles in the restaurant after 9pm as supper. The service is excellent. We arrived before check-in time so we stored our luggage in hotel. When we got back to the hotel in the evening, the luggage had already been taken up to our room. This is the service of a 5 star hotel. The staff at reception is welcoming, and additional office staff came out to serve guest when they see that a queue is forming in the front desk.
PROS:
• Excellent customer service
• Close to train station
• On-site hot spring
• Free noodle for supper
CONS
If I have to pick on something, then the room is small by western standard, but of reasonable size in Japan for this price range.
Nice little onsen hotel with great hospitality
Angie Lon 04/06/2017 13:50This hotel does have a real onsen, albeit quite small. They had many oranges in the pool when i went there, so creative! The hotel reception does speak some English and are very helpful. The room is comfortable enough but small, like most Japanese hotels. The street is very quiet, but the room walls are thin (again like most Jap hotels so don't complain). Best part is they provide 9-11pm free soup noodles (I haven't stayed in one hotel that ever done that!) and tasty too! Free coffee in the lobby.
You walk 5min to Wakayama station/shopping centers and you can also take Bus 42 to Kushiro Market or No. 121/122 outside hotel itself. very convenient!
Check in is strictly 3pm, so i paid Y2000 extra per head to check in early. You can opt for that when you book the hotel, it is cheaper that way. Check out is 10am, you have to pay Y1000 so take note.
