First Trip to Boston
ashleymarie589on 16/08/2017 19:40My fiance and I stayed here for a short trip and loved it! There were many hotels to choose from but this one fit us best. We wanted something close to downtown and affordable. We had a standard room which was perefect. The room was roomy and clean and you can tell it was recently remodeled and modern. You can always count on branded hotels like this to be clean which is the most important to me.The hotel grounds itself are nice it has a bar inside which was nice. It is close to downtown however we did take ubers to places since we weren't familiar with the area and it was the middle of July and super hot. We went to a few touristy places such as the Harbor Sunset boat ride, Freedom Trail, JFK museum,Cheers and of course Fenway Park. Only negative to this stay was that it is right next to a hospital so we would constantly hear ambulances at all hours, which is no fault of the hotel. Overall we were satisfied with our stay and if we do visit Boston again this is where we would stay.
Boston experience

Doubletree Boston
N7674IRmichaellon 15/08/2017 14:53When I complained about the poor housekeeping service or lack of service since they hadn't serviced the room by 3pm to the front desk, the staff had an attitude and advised that housekeeping had until 5pm to take care of the room. Unfortunately this marred an otherwise nice long weekend in Boston.
Excellent for exploring Boston
ibeplatoon 15/08/2017 04:55Stayed here recently for a few nights for a family vacation in Boston. The location is quite convenient, within a 15 minute walk to the Public Gardens, Common, and Faneuil Hall area. The Tufts Medical T station is next to the hotel as well. The theater district and Chinatown is also a short walk. There are lots of people around in the evening so we never felt concerned about walking to/from the hotel. There are lots of breakfast choices nearby (the Thinking Cup by the Common is very good). There is a Starbucks in the hotel as well just off the lobby. Staff were very friendly, rooms were a good size and WiFi worked well. Only real complaint is that the room had no view other than the windows of the rooms across the courtyard. Still, we'd definitely stay here again if vacationing in Boston or if conducting business in the area.
Fantastic place to stay
Kelly Oon 14/08/2017 16:20This was my second 5-day stay in 18 months. Great location. The hotel is next to the orange line. 20 min walk to Faneuil Hall or Newbury Street. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is nicely updated and the bed was comfy. There was also a sofa, ottoman, and side table that made a nice seating area for me to lounge/work at night. The restaurant and bar have a good selection.
