Great location but serious cooling system problem
Jo-as-Joon 04/06/2017 02:33Great location, right next to punting station. They had serious cooling system issue when I was there, but the staff are super friendly and helpful though. My first room was crazily hot I felt like I can't breath after shower. The staff changed my room to basement because at that time the hotel was fully booked and that's the only room left which feels cooler to me. But the basement room smells a bit, so the second day I requested to change another room, and the staff upgraded my room to a patio room, which was good.

Charlie8682on 03/06/2017 13:52Staff are lovely a warm upon arrival which was nice but, the room was average smaller than some premier inns. The bathroom was small but clean. The room was ok the bed was very soft. The bar was expensive but I'm sure it's the norm for the hotel. Breakfast was average selection, sausages were small and not very nice. Can't fault the Staff, but won't be returning.
Quiet and convenient place to stay in Cambridge
AmberUsaon 31/05/2017 20:10In our recent trip to England and Wales, we stay in B& B most of the time. However, we decided to stay in a hotel in Cambridge simply because of its location. It is center to places we were interested in: the Kings Chapel etc. and is right on the river where one can watch the punt in action from the balcony of the room. Our accommodation is very quiet, no outside noise riches the room; the bathroom is very clean; being a Hilton Honor member, checking out is no work at all! The hotel provides everything that is essential to a traveler and we like that. However, we were expecting a room with two double beds but what we got was a room with a double bed, a twin bed and a crib! We chuckled at that since it has been a long time since our son needs a crib! He is 6'4 and a double bed would have been more comfortable for him. We did not make an issue since we only plan to be there for one night before our long stay in London where we booked two rooms in a hotel. Next time I'll be sure to confirm for a room with two double beds!
Weekend break
rickyv007on 30/05/2017 18:22The hotel has a great location by the river, although it is a little tired in places that did not effect the fantastic service and professionalism from all the staff.( many being Spanish). Breakfast was very good as was the bar food. Our room was a Superior, unfortunately very warm as the ventilation system was poor; however we were given a fan which helped enormously. Overall I would definitely recommend this Hotel.
The parking is good though a little expensive, for it's own, but what isn't in Cambridge!!
Excellent hotel in a superb location
W326ZScarolinelon 29/05/2017 21:15Stayed here for two nights over a bank holiday weekend. it is located in the heart of Cambridge on the river this hotel is perfect for exploring the beautiful city on foot. It is efficiently run and the staff are very helpful. Would highly recommend a stay here
