Two night stay during the week
Andrew Ron 03/07/2017 02:21As usual, we like staying at the Doubletree brand of Hilton Hotels. Not only did we get our cookies at check in, because we had enough Hilton Honors points we got a free dessert in the restaurant. The property was very close to I-495 and it was easy to get to and from the hotel. We also liked that this Doubletree had something called "Guest of the Day", where one lucky person got extra honors points and a free meal in the restaurant. There weren't too many options for dining out in the immediate area and the hotel's restaurant was very nice. We would stay there again when in the area.

PapaluvsNanaon 02/07/2017 13:33This was a very nice place to stay. The king room was comfortable, quiet, and clean. We checked in late at night and the person working the desk was very helpful. This hotel does provide a military discount! Thank you! The breakfast buffet was well stocked and the staff was very friendly but it did cost $30 for the 2 of us which contributed to a 4 instead of 5. Additionally the corridor leading to our first floor room had a musty smell but it was only in that hallway. Overall, this was an enjoyable stay.

There isn't much to do around this location Nor many other restaurants around.
Overall good property and friendly staffs.
Price we paid was $130.

garymY6600WQon 28/06/2017 20:37This hotel is very convenient for me as I have family in the area. I have been staying here for over 10 years and have always had a consistent experience. Clean comfortable rooms. Good breakfast buffet. Very welcoming.

sharo lll shueon 28/06/2017 02:33We arrived and went to the desk to check in. The desk clerk was efficient but never a smile. There was no warm and fuzzy our entire stay. The first person to smile and say hello was a woman named Maria, who worked in housekeeping. I told her how much it meant to me that she smiled and said hello. So enough said on service. Efficacy but no welcoming feeling. Being located near main highways I am sure it is used for people traveling for business and probably may be acceptable. Upon entering our room I usually smell freshness even if it is spray to make the room smell nice. Nope. Was the room clean? Yes. Did I think the room was awesome no. It was very small! It was an honors room, really? The room was very quiet the entire stay. Our room was facing the highway. Still very quiet. The air conditioner worked but we could not get it below 70. Our preference is a cooler room for a better night sleep. Over all still okay. We both found the handicap accessible tub/shower to be extremely awkward. We never got comfortable with it. There's usually a coffee stations in most places we stay
that is available throughout the day. I missed that not being available here. We dined in the hotel one evening. I ordered Mac and cheese and it came with a side of sugar snap peas. I also ordered a soda. How can you possibly mess up Mac and cheese. It was flavorless and extremely expensive. My bill was 17.00$. Before ordering I asked the gentleman next to me what he had ordered and if it was good. He shook his head that it wasn't very good and wouldn't recommend it. This area really needs great improvement. Overall the entire experience was okay. It was clean and quiet. Would I stay here again, maybe. Probably would try another if available. Was just a bit disappointed. Just expected more.
