Warrington_UKVickyon 29/08/2017 19:22Yes, there are warm cookies on arrival. But when we checked out we weren't even asked if everything was okay with our stay. So here goes... smell of drains in our bathroom, noise of lifts late and very early, bedside light didn't work - room very gloomy and the hook on the back if the bathroom door was broken. And this was a deluxe executive room. Breakfast was decidedly average - the scrambled eggs were gloopy and sweet like porridge rather than being fluffy and savoury. The bacon was very good.

shakespearecowon 21/08/2017 09:45Extremely high price of rooms has kept me away for almost a year but that seems to have been corrected (or updated) so happy to be back! I really missed having to stay at other area hotels when the prices just made the DT affordable, so hopefully this will not stay a reasonable priced hotel.
NICE CLEAN HOTEL UP THE HILL FROM THE CITY
Starrywanderon 19/08/2017 21:34We stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Luxembourg July 7, 2017 as we had made a side trip to Luxembourg City in our driving tour of the Northeast area of France. The hotel is up the hill from the city - it's a long walk to get down to the central area so you will probably want to take a taxi or drive down. Parking is not easy in Luxembourg City however. The hotel itself is clean and modern. The day we arrived they had a wifi outage, couldn't check us in and the environment was more confused than apologetic and helpful. There was a soccer (futbol) team checking in as well and they couldn't get their rooms so the lobby was somewhat chaotic. Not fun after driving all day. The room we had was large for European standards. It was comfortable though it lacked any particular style. It was less expensive there than staying in the city however - worth the taxi fare to get down the hill.

Donna Ton 16/08/2017 06:30We stayed one night in two rooms. We were nicely welcomed on arrival and check in was very quick. Our rooms were clean and comfy. It is not in the city but then it is only a quick bus ride away. I would definitely stay again.
