Wonderful staff, Very clean rooms
Bridget Ron 03/06/2017 14:58The warm chocolate chip cookies are always great upon check-in. We came to the Buffalo Doubletree because it is close to Shea Theater (Wicked was great!) The complimentary shuttle to downtown Buffalo was wonderful and quick for pickup after the show (and it is nice that you can reserve the shuttle for the time you need to get downtown). Staff suggested Bijou Grille for dinner - food was awesome, we weren't rushed, and got to our show with plenty of time. Back at the hotel, the beds were very clean and comfortable - the clean smell of the sheets and duvet helped me fall asleep fast. Suite was a nice size and had enough beds for everyone with the sofa bed. The sofa bed, as expected, wasn't as comfortable as the beds, but acceptable for my child, and was clean. Maybe a memory foam mattress pad would have made the sofa bed a bit more comfortable, Doubletree? Overall, a great stay. Know that if you have questions, they are answered quickly by the helpful staff - so call the hotel directly. They were able to solve a reservation issue swiftly and keep our weekend on track.
Lovely hotel in Buffalo Medical Corridor
Pamela Gon 03/06/2017 12:49For families or business associates who need proximity to Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Buffalo General Hospital, &/or Children's Hospital of Buffalo this is an ideal hotel for great service, good accommodations & proximity to the hospitals.
Nice place for vacation
rongs391on 31/05/2017 19:29The staffs are really helpful and the room is nice and clean. The shuttle is extremely helpful. It is a bit expensive during holidays but worth it. They provide information about Buffalo and the Falls. Nice place for vacation!
That place that I call HOME!!!
Audrey Ton 24/05/2017 20:48My cousin and I were visiting Buffalo last weekend and we clearly were threated like royalty. From the check-in to the check-out, our experience at the DoubleTree was just amazing! The staff was kind and helpful, the room was clean, spacious and quiet. We slept like babies. Location wise, it's perfect. Close to the downtown area and Elmood Avenue. You don't feel like walking? Ask about the free "let's go downtown" shuttle service that's available. We also had breakfast and ordered room service. The food was good, the portions were generous and service was quick. This is my new HOME in Buffalo. Thanks to Jean and Renee for making our stay memorable!!!
Friendly Staff/ Comfortable stay
April Hon 24/05/2017 14:44We stayed here to attend my niece's graduation from nursing school. It was a great location. Quiet hotel, comfortable rooms and extremely friendly staff. It's across the street from the hospital but we never were awakened by sirens or noise. We had great stay. There was a few issues with broken items in our room and it was addressed quickly. The front desk staff was always welcoming. We ordered room service the first night after a long drive and it came quickly. The hotel is not far from the border and we were able to go a quick trip into Canada for dinner.
