Room is nicely appointed. Back door opens to wrap around balcony with view of pool and patio.
Garage parking is the only parking property on site and there is a fee. Oversized vehicles have a separate non-garaged place to park.
Convenient to I-35, Pappideaux, Target, Starbucks, Specs and ACC.
best stay ever in a long time
Alisa Con 27/06/2017 19:43greeted with warm cookies, door opened for us, friendly valet staff, huge room, nice and cool and wonderful view of capital. a block from capital. free shuttle to lbj, and 2 mile radius, so enables you to walk just about everywhere. rooftop pool is garage top pool and small but slept so good and quiet and wonderful room.

Julio Ron 26/06/2017 14:48My stay at the DoubleTree in Austin located on 15th Street and Lavaca Ave. was for business The entire staff was very courteous and professional. I highly recommend this hotel and other DoubleTree Hotels since I've also stayed at others during my travels.

843leannejon 26/06/2017 10:03Very clean, beautifully appointed room. Efficient front desk staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful and professional. Most comfortable bed and pillows I've slept on in a hotel! I would definitely recommend this to business and leisure travelers. Its also in a great part of the city -- close to restaurants, large hospital if needed, etc.
