Wayne Kon 24/08/2017 21:26The service at the hotel was excellent. From the check-in, to the restaurant, to the check-out, and valet service...everyone was very nice and efficient. The room was nice, and I had a nice view of the Detroit River, but there were some hairs gathered in a pile in one corner of the bathroom so cleanliness gets a slight downgrade. There are actually two restaurants. One is a restaurant/pub and the other is closer to a traditional restaurant. I was only there in the evening and the next morning so I can be certain of the hours of each restaurant but it appears that the traditional restaurant is not open in the evening. The prices in the pub are in the higher range for beer, and the food is closer to mid to upper range. I would stay here again.

O6053LQandrewkon 23/08/2017 17:46Great hotel in downtown Detroit. Hotel staff were curious and professional. Lobby was clean and modern. The room was larger than needed and quiet throughout our stay. We walked around to restaurants downtown and then to the Tiger's game.
hotel didn't explain to me deposit
wandal995on 23/08/2017 16:16I wasn't explained to about a $30 deposit until my card was charged at check in. I was very irritated about that and even more irritated that I had to wait 5 business days to get it back. The only reason I booked a room here is because they had no deposit fees..

Keith Jon 23/08/2017 13:16This hotel had everything we wanted: location, price. Was very clean and staff were excellent. The complimentary shuttle was great to get to the Motown Museum and back. Nice, friendly and relaxed bar in the hotel made for enjoyable nightcaps. And offered extra cookies. :-)
Huge Rooms, Excellent stay
GoCeltsGoon 23/08/2017 04:23We had a very pleasant stay here. The location is considered Downtown Detroit but it's a bit on the outer perimeter so it was very quiet and safe. Valet was convenient if not pricey at $30 per night. They always had more than enough valet/bell staff at the front doors, they were always holding them open for you whether you were entering or exiting. The front desk staff always had a smile and 'how are you?' Common areas and lobby were clean and inviting. Elevators were never an issue. We had a corner room which was huge and very bright. It was great having 2 separate rooms, 1 for sleeping, 1 for TV/work area. The bathroom set up was fantastic. It was nice to have the double sinks separate from the toilet/tub. Toiletries were from Crabtree & Evelyn, very nice. Housekeeping kept everything spotless daily. One minor complaint - we did have to request extra towels (only 2 provided) and toilet paper (never a refill). The hotel does not do airport pickup but they do have a shuttle that will drive you/pick up anywhere within 3 miles. We requested a late check out and were given an extra hour. Despite this, they shut our key off early. It was easy enough to have them fix it but it's annoying when hotels do this. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and loves the huge room.
