Lovely getaway from Chicago
Jean Ron 29/03/2017 17:19We scheduled two nights in St. Joseph, MI in early March to explore the area on a relaxed schedule. The Dove Nest Bed and Breakfast provided a friendly, comfortable base. The hosts give considerable care to the setting and the breakfast. They offer information about restaurants and local destinations of interest. We recommend the Dove Nest Bed and Breakfast wholeheartedly.
Wonderfully warm hosts and room
JenZelleron 07/02/2017 22:38My husband and I have stayed twice at the Dove Nest and loved it both times! We stayed for our wedding night and came back for a one year anniversary trip. The hosts John and Jitka are extremely warm and friendly, the three course breakfast is delightful, and the rooms and property are beautiful and perfectly kept. The rooms are all cozy with many lovely little touches that make them very comfortable and homelike. We are already planning our next stay and wondering which room we'd like to try next, as the Garden Victoria has been our choice thus far. Very highly recommended!!
Anniversary getaway
Tom Won 21/11/2016 02:20My wife and I stayed at the Dove Nest Bed and Breakfast to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary. The hosts, John and Jitka, were very nice people, and accommodated our late arrival with no complaints. The room we stayed in, the Royal Oak, was large with a private balcony and bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub. Breakfast was pleasant with the two very friendly hosts and other guests while listening to soft music. The property is large and well up kept. The location is outside of downtown St. Joseph, which makes it feel much more romantic and secluded. It was very easy to drive to the lake, explore downtown, and visit the many surrounding wineries. We can not wait to come back, we highly recommend to our family and friends!
Great Weekend
Knobber30on 31/10/2016 01:56My wife and i traveled here and stayed here for the weekend and it was great. It is inn a great location close to many wineries and close to downtown St Joe. We stayed in the Blue Sky room which was perfect. Easy in and out and with a private bath. The breakfast was great. Started with a small pastry, had a main course that was delicious, followed by a sweet dessert. Also, the coffee was some of the best coffee i have ever had. Lastly, and the greatest part of the weekend were our hosts. John is a great guy who is truly there for you and anything you may need. Thanks again for a wonderful weekend.

50th bday weekend
Anthony Eon 16/10/2016 18:46A great place to spend the weekend. The house and rooms was very clean and well maintained. The hosts were very friendly. The food was delicious.
The location was great for many close by hiking trails in the forest. I especially loved Tabor Hill Winery for their atmosphere and food. I loved the beer and food at Silver Harbor Brewery.
