Wonderful stay
Eric Bon 22/04/2017 19:24We had a marvellous 2 night stay here over Easter. Our hosts were charming and both the room and breakfast were out of this.
Teresa and Andy are a lovely couple with great local knowledge. We stayed in room 6 which is huge with great facilities. This is a very quiet spot as the house is set well back from the road and there is plenty of parking.
Looe is only three miles away.
We can not recommend this B & B more highly.
If we are ever back in the area we will definitely stay here again.
Makes a great base for touring Cornwall and Devon

Looe is only three miles away, it is a lovely place with many Restaurants and Cafes.
The Copley arms is fairly close and they do great evening meals.
The Breakfast at Down Ende is excellent.
Two Night Stay
saltford2015on 04/07/2016 15:15Very friendly staff, made a tray of tea for us on arrival, very clean spacious rooms, nice quiet settings up a tree lined drive. Breakfast good choice of cereal,fruitjuice, toast or a full english. My wife had porridge made fresh. Big dog there but as gentle as a lamb.
Comfortable guest house
Lynn Bon 24/10/2015 23:30My husband and I spent a few days here in September. Our room was excellent with a very comfortable and large bed. The room also had a comfortable seating area although the bathroom was very small.
Breakfast was disappointing and we had to keep asking for tea, coffee and milk for our room.
The family were very welcoming and helpful.
I doubt we would visit again.
Down Ende "Faulty Towers" -Hardly
Caroline Gon 21/09/2015 11:16My friend and I booked our room to go to the Looe music festival as it was a perfect distance. Room was light and comfortable. Breakfast and customer service from the host and family was brilliant.
From the moment we saw the building we were pleasantly pleased with our choice. We shared a twin bedroom on the top floor which was light and fresh and perfect for our needs, with a personal touch which was much nicer than the larger chains. We felt that the photographs that we saw when we booked on-line did not do the room justice. Breakfast was the highlight of the morning with excellent breakfast. However what exceeded my experience was the lovely customer service I recieved from the family who were warm, welcoming and very accomodating.
Thanks once again We definately want to go back next year.
