sad, unsatisfactory!

Several things sadly not good, food certainly not as it could have been, very samey, and repetitive! Aimed at old people! The bar staff made many errors with money and orders! Charges for everything, including the (supposed) free wifi! Recepionist , very demanding ! Room clean though, very noisy neighbours dogs! miles from anywhere, so transport needed always!

A great hotel in a beautiful location.

We stayed here on a Newmarket holiday, we had a room with a balcony with a beautiful view of the lake, the hotel itself was of a very high standard with comfortable beds, good meal options, though the food could have been hotter, even though our room overlooked the road the noise wasn't too bad with the windows closed, There was a shower and ample towels. There were no tea and coffee making facilities in rooms so its a good idea to bring a travel kettle. The tv channels are nearly all Italian with only three English language stations but with such beauty outside the window we didn't care. There is no free wifi but you can get a weeks worth for one device for five euros which is very reasonable I think. Theres a decent sized swimming pool and a bar with live entertainment. The staff were courteous enough, though not terribly friendly, overall though I couldn't find fault with anything , a superb hotel all round.

The hotel is in an excellent position on the lake.went on holiday with Newmarket travel.splendid hotel.clean,tidy.buffet breakfast,3 course evening meal,meal lukewarm at times.always had a rise or pasta,salad,meat or fish excellent quality food,fresh fruit every day.sat on a table with my husband and two lovely ladies.missed ice cream.we took our travel kettle and travel iron so we had tea and coffee when we wanted it.we had two single beds ,were comfortable and warm.we had a balcony which had glorious views of the lake.we were on a main road but to be honest the traffic didn't matter ,the view cancelled the noise out.english news channels on TVs ,that's it the cleaner was lovely and friendly ,staff could have been friendlier ,but saying that it seems all Italian people seem a bit miserable.there is a snack machine ,but because it's the end of season everything was taken out.WIFI was €5 which we didn't use.the gardens of the hotel were excellent with lemon trees with enormous lemons on them.great value hotel would definitely recommend

I was pleasantly surprised to be given a large double room as a solo traveller with a Jacuzzi shower and spacious balcony for the last week of the season and I found the hotel, staff, food service etc excellent. If only they had free Wi fi and ice cream available at meals it would be perfect. The excursions with Newmarket holidays to Venice, Verona, Dolomites and a lake tour were an unexpected bonus. I would certainly recommend the hotel and the holiday company. Thank you! Margaret A

Great hotel

Just come back yesterday from our holiday it is lovely hotel, room was nice, had good bar area and the food was lovely. Everything was well organised and even the cleaners said hello every time we saw them. The pool was closed but that did not matter it was also in nice area and was easy to catch bus.
